We've had sync issues with our email…

We've had sync issues with our email for a while at work (small business) and phoned the Technical Support desk for help. Lester from the Tech support team took my call and was excellent as he patiently guided me through the set up and made some recommendations as well on how we work. It went from frustration and slow progress before we called to now running smoothly and everything fixed. Thank you Lester

Total Cowboys

I had an account with these cowboys. I cancelled it but they renewed it anyway so stole money from me. They have also ignored my complaint about this. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

Avoid Fasthosts VPS - Oversold Servers, No Cloud-Init, and Shut Down Over £1.65

I recently used Fasthosts for VPS hosting and the experience was terrible from start to finish.

Firstly, there is no cloud-init support, something that has been standard on every other cloud/VPS provider for years. This means you have to manually install your OS via a remote console, which itself is awful — it has a timeout that stops accepting input mid-setup, forcing you to restart the console and race through commands before it cuts out again.

The hypervisor ballooning is so poorly managed that the server crashed multiple times during a basic Ubuntu install. This is a clear sign of oversold nodes that can't handle basic workloads.

The management panel is a mess, servers don't all appear in the server management area, you have to go back to the billing portal to manage them. Two completely separate systems with no coherent integration.

To top it all off, a payment of £1.65 failed and Fasthosts immediately shut down ALL of my servers with a 4 hour account lockout even after paying. £1.65. The servers were offline for hours over an amount less than a chocolate bar.

And if you want to cancel? You have to call them. In 2026. A deliberate dark pattern to make leaving as painful as possible.

Avoid entirely.

IT'S A SCAM

This is a total fraud and I fell for it. I bought a domain from them but it's now impossible to renew it, even by paying their invoice my domain name is lost. They stole my money.
I tried to contact them multiple times but I got absolutely no response. I don't think they're a real company. They're NOT fasthost.co.uk
