I recommend this boutique hotel in Ciutadella, Menorca. The hotel is small and beautiful. The staff were very helpful and kindly moved me and my husband to a better room when I asked for a room with a terrace. This didn't seem possible to specify when we made the booking via Relais & Chateaux. We went with three other couples who all had a lovely stay. The general manager was also very attentive and introduced herself to all of the guests. I would definitely stay here again. One small criticism would be that we had no confirmation of our booking after making it on the Relais & Chateaux website. This meant that I had to chase it up by communicating directly with the hotel. This should not have been necessary. Also, there is no parking at the hotel but there is free local parking which is tricky to find. I'd recommend taking a local taxi from the airport to the hotel (approximately 30min drive) as the hotel transfer seemed expensive.
I would also recommend the half-day boat trip organised by the hotel. This was a good experience and a great way to swim and discover the beautiful local beaches. I also recommend having lunch at Ulisses (great food but poor service when we were there) and dinner at Moriarty which had the best menu and a separate 'speak easy' bar which played great music if you fancy a night cap after dinner.
