Orbiter cuff treatment
I would like to thank Nick for his work on my orbiter cuff. Nick gave me hugely useful exercises to do at home which have been great. Thanks Nick
Consistently excellent treatment
I have been attending Faye Pedlar clinic for a variety of different ailments over the past 15 years. Every therapist I have seen has been over this time has consistently provided excellent care. The practice is well run, professional and always provides good advice on self management.
Do a bit of research first before wasting £100s
So a bit of a story first. I had both knees replaced over 18 months ago. Moving forward 12 months I got back into running and suffered plantar fasciitis,5 sessions of shock therapy with no success. So I done a bit of research and found that foot problems ie plantar fasciitis, gait issues and numbness in the foot because of nerve damage. My issue is that these problems were never mentioned to me by the physio which now is surprising and a waste of a lot of money considering these problems all over the net when you google the problem. Hence my negative response for a so called professional outfit.

Excellent treatment and service
Well what can I say. Started sessions with Catherine six weeks ago with chronic neck pain. I was in agony as my MRI scan revealed a trapped nerve with pain radiating down my left arm. We tried acupuncture for two weeks which didn't work, then cervical traction which did. This coupled with home traction exercises have made me pain free. I was awaiting surgery, which may now not be required. An amazing result!
The whole experience at Fay Pedler, from the reception staff to the physio is professional and caring.
Thank you so much for alleviating my pain and allowing me to carry on with the things that I enjoy.

From the moment of booking with the receptionists to the visit with the Physios a professional, friendly, and helpful service was provided. I had Physio with Catherine who took the time to explain and offer reasons for the pain whilst also rectifying to allow me to be pain free. I recommended to a friend who also has now found after years of pain some weeks of physio has made their life so much easier. My 82yr old father is now receiving treatment after a fall left his shoulder with pain, Ricky on the first appointment has made so much improvement for him. I’d highly recommend the services and staff at Fay Pedler.
Great physio
Great physio
I have been going to see my physio for several months and I can’t praise him enough. He has been brilliant - making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I can’t thank him enough for what he has done for me. Not to mention the chats.

I attended the clinic to see if the shockwave treatment could help my pain.
I attended the clinic to see if the shockwave treatment would help alleviate the pain in my feet. I have had numbness and quite serious pain across the top of my feet starting 20 years ago. Tried everything else over the years but nothing worked. After four visits the shockwave treatment has reduced the pain considerably. I don’t know how it works but it does. I also had a painful hip and shoulder which Harry treated and both are completely healed. No pain.
I cannot thank Harry enough. He is a gentleman who made me feel at ease with the treatment and a very interesting young man. The staff at the clinic could not be more welcoming and professional. Thank you.

Back pain was restricting movement and my GP recommended physiotherapy. I was booked in to see Ricky and after one session was thrilled to be almost pain- free. Subsequently he has given me exercises which really help if I feel a tightening of the muscle. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and all the good caring, professional people there.

Brilliant
I have been attending the Fay Pedler clinic for nearly 30 yrs. Treated predominantly over the years by Fay herself up until she retired from the clinic. What an amazing lady. Over the years, I have been treated for a back complaint and neck/shoulder problems.
Most recently I have been treated for a pulled muscle neck/shoulder. I've been treated with both manipulation and acupuncture. Firstly by Harry, Ricky and then Alice. I would especially like to mention Alice, she has been an absolute God send for me. Not just from her treatment of me but her has a person, she reminds me of how Fay used to be with me and how she treated me. She hows a lovely way about her, her personality is just amazing and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would also like to thank Sharon on reception as in my hour of need/desperation whilst talking to her and Alice over hearing our conversation, Alice offered to stay on and see me and I can not thank, them enough and let them know how grateful I am. I have always found the staff from the receptionist's to the physio's to be very personable, thorough and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Fay Pedler Clinic

Poor second session, but errors now corrected
First appointment was great, careful taking of history, reasonable diagnosis, good massage and suggestions for exercises at home.
Second appointment didn’t happen. Waited over 30 minutes after my appointment time. No therapist, no apology (except from nice receptionist who didn’t know what was going on) no explanation, no follow up. I felt completely disrespected.
If I didn’t turn up until after my appointment time ended, I would still be expected to pay because I would have wasted the therapist’s time. Now he’s wasted my time - which is equally valuable.
6 days later: They have now apologised and explained, and offered me another session for free.
This session was as good as the first, thorough, careful and productive, so I am now very happy to recommend this clinic.

I have visited the Fay Pedler Clinic…Excellent service.
I have visited the Fay Pedler Clinic for treatment on two occasions in the last couple of years. Firstly for a troublesome knee and secondly a very painful back/hip condition. Each time I was seen and treated by Catherine who made sure she took the time to gather as many facts about the problem and then assess the best way forward in her usual professional/knowledgeable manner. After the appropriate number of sessions I left on each occasion a much happier and mobile person. On arriving and departing the Reception staff could not be more professional and courteous. I would highly recommend the Fay Pedler Clinic to anyone.
Thank you.

My experience with Fay Pedler Clinic was amazing,
After suffering a motorbike accident last year. my solicitor recommended me too attend private recovery.
The day I attended the clinic It was a pleasure to be there, people are nice and helpful, friendly and always make you feel special. I will be sad not to attend anymore. But this mark of the review is well deserved.
My sincere thanks to all the amazing staff.

When I first saw Alistair I was in absolute tears and agony. Even after my 1st session I walked out much better than I went in and I can't thank you enough. After 4 weeks I'm much straighter with barely any pain and have been given exercises to carry on with to hopefully stop it happening again but if it does I won't hesitate to come back.

Brilliant advice and tailored care for my sports injury
After trying to "run off" a hamstring injury I got while running, I decided to do the sensible thing and visit Fay Pedler Physio (I've used them before and they've always been great).
My physio Jo assessed the injury thoroughly, concluding that it was quite a serious ruptured hamstring. She gave me some gentle exercises at home and we ran through how to do them. I also had some ultrasound as the area was quite stiff and inflamed. Of course, no running for 4 weeks as well.
After a further 2 sessions and some newer progressively more taxing exercises and stretches, I am now back running in, slower, shorter "rehab" mode.
The level of care and knowledge was excellent as well as the result. I would 100% recommend them.
