Given an old car not even a radio in it, it was not clean and it was not in the class we ordered. The pick up location is over 15 minutes drive from Bergamo and we had to wait 30+ minutes for the tr... See more

Car with no engine oil. No assistance. Extremely serious experience.
I rented a Lancia Y from Felirent (Palermo): after 8 days and around 1,000 km, a red warning light came on for “engine oil exhausted.”
I paid for assistance, but over the phone I was told to deal with it on my own. No help. No solution.
The manager downplayed the issue using inappropriate tones.
We had to go door-to-door in an unknown village to find a mechanic. The oil was completely gone.
I filed a formal complaint with evidence and receipts: never received a response.
I seriously wonder if their cars are ever checked before being handed over.
Zero safety. Zero support. Zero professionalism.
Never again.
Thanks to Valentina and Franceska
Very pure service
Not very good service ! We picked up a car that had not full tank and when returned we have been told by the company that we did not meet their expectations of left miles/km. We left the car with more petrol we collected but was not pointing at a certain Blue Line. Both membera of staff raising their voices at us and telling us will take out of our deposite if the line of the fuel is not showing the same as per photo. (I wonder if they do that on purpose to be able to take your deposite when they see you on a rush to leave the car) this company does not look very profecional . As per our contract we should have a car with full fuel tank and easy when return Back. Also the car aircon was not functioning well! Now i understand why so low reviews this company has. People should be more polite and start following customer contracts and actually doing their job to make sure when giving a car to a costumer the tank is full with fuel .. so simple!
Dishonest Damage Charges and Aggressive Staff – Avoid This Company
Avoid this rental company at all costs. Our experience was deeply disappointing and felt deliberately exploitative.
Upon returning the vehicle, the staff member immediately asked if we had broker-provided insurance before even inspecting the car — a red flag that we were about to be targeted. Sure enough, she then “discovered” a series of minuscule scratches, including one on the undercarriage (which is virtually impossible to inspect pre-rental) and a tiny mark on an alloy wheel. These were barely visible, certainly not caused during our rental, and were not noticeable under normal conditions.
Worse still, she initially attempted to charge us for a scratch on the headlight lens — which we were able to prove, via our own pre-rental video, was there before we took the car. This clearly demonstrates that their initial inspection process is either sloppy or intentionally incomplete, and calls into question the legitimacy of any damage claims they issue.
The agent was rude, dismissive, and seemed far more interested in finding something to charge us for than conducting a fair return process. The final bill included an arbitrary “administration fee” in addition to the supposed repair costs — a common tactic used by disreputable companies to pad charges.
Do not use Felirent at Cagliari…
Do not use Felirent at Cagliari airport.
We have been charge 185 euros for not arriving within half an hour from the time specified on the booking.
Apparently, even if the delay is not your fault, you lose the right of booking. And the money you already pay.
In 20 years I’m renting cars all over Europe that never happened to me before.
We lost the booking and the 142 pounds already pay through Do You Italy.
Once we had the car, we lost more than 30 minutes to find the car with no help at all.
Got back to uk last Friday and promised myself I’ll never book with this company again.
Very disappointing experience
They wont assume expenses even if you…
They wont assume expenses even if you have a premium insurance
Stay away from these rude people.
Extremely rude customer service, they force you to buy an insurance even if you previously bought one.Stay away from them!
Really no fuzz whatsoever.
Really no fuzz whatsoever.
Booked through DiscoverCars.
Came to Milan Central Station/Felirent office 20 min before closing and left 10 min later in the car.
Nice personnel, a cleaned car that met our needs (not the car advertised, but still a 5+2) and no problems at all.
The return was also no fuzz and no unexpected costs were thrown upon me.
Gonna use Felirent next time in Italy.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Do not book through them! We paid over $2000 USD for a van. It was completely beat up. Then they managed to keep our deposit and claimed there was damage. They are not near the airport and will not return calls or emails after you leave. DO NOT USE!!!
What a bad company
What a bad company
They will welcome you nicely but when you return the car they will push fake damage on your car tires and ignore you as if you don't exist
And for what? 50 euros
Do yourself a favor and avoid them like fire
We used it in Sardinia...never again
We used it in Sardinia...never again! Apart from overcharging us like Balkan scammers for not having a credit card, they didn't even return the deposit, and ignored our emails. Hope they use the money they made on a useless doctor.

No Credit Card – Extra Charges
We booked through Check24, and I didn’t realize during the booking process that there would be additional fees for not using a credit card. In our case, it was €32 per day. So for a 10-day rental, that meant an extra €320, which put a bit of a damper on the first day of our trip in Italy. The car itself was ok, and the return process went smoothly in the end.

AVOID- APPALLING COMPANY
I would have scored this company zero if I could - like most we wanted to a reasonable costing hire car however NEVER would I use this company again
Our flight landed but due to unforeseen issues at the airport we were later out than planned - called the rental company in Malpensa who after 15 mins collected us and took us 15 mins from the airport to collect our car - however as we were over an hour late collecting the car, our ‘order’ was CANCELLED as per the booking agreement (yes we missed that in the small print) - since we were so far out in the middle of no where we were stuck so we had to rebook a smaller group of car with no air con for an extra €200 - 40* heat no air con! When we drove the car, it was clear it hadn’t been checked as an intermittent fault light appeared for the whole 2 weeks
On returning the car to Naples, the return address was a mile from where they said they would be, suggest the correct address is put in all correspondence - they clearly don’t pay for pickup or collection any where the actual airport. When we eventually found the return office we were met by a very officious, unwelcoming & rude Italian girl at 7.57am (office opened at 8.00am) who told me in no uncertain terms that if the car was returned early (3 mins), she would charge us an extra €97!!! I have never, ever been spoken to by a girl in this manner and am utterly disgusted by her behaviour- it later transpired that our paperwork said 8.00am return but hers said 11.00am which we were also challenged on - no apology was offered for her error or her attitude
I suggest that she receives further customer service training to realise that without us the customer, she would be out of a job - maybe making pizzas in a kitchen would be best suited to her as she wouldn’t have to ‘deal’ with the likes of me….!!
A truly horrendous experience from start to finish, so I urge you to spend a little bit more and feel safe in the knowledge that you have hired from a reputable car hire firm that has offices on site and meets your needs as a paying customer.

The rudest, nastiest, unhelpful staff ever, zilch customer service skills
This was at Bari office…The rudest, most unhelpful car rental staff we’ve ever come across. Zero customer service skills. As we arrived to collect our car, one of the female staff was having a very loud, full on screaming row with a customer, and the same scenario when we returned the car. The guy who dealt with us collecting the car was texting on his phone the whole time, whist supposedly serving us. I told him I was feeling unwell at one point, and he replied it was my problem to deal with and shrugged his shoulders.
We were told we had to clean the car before returning it or pay €10.
Do not use….. utterly dire. It’s like they have absolute contempt for their customers. Very stressful experience. Worst staff ever hence we’d never use again

Enjoy the long wait in the sun
First time i have a booking with this company. In Olbia the service is very slow while people have to wait outside in the scorching heat. Very very slow. 2 computers but only one helping people.
Rude unhelpful staff.
The office is not signposted from the arrivals area at the airport. We had to ask several other vendors where the Felirent office was located. All the kept saying was “P1” which made no sense as we say no signs for P1
You have to walk through a few car parks, which are uneven to drag suitcases across. The office is located the furthest away from all the rest.
There’s no shelter from the heat at the office and the office is small so you can’t wait for your car in there.
We arrived on time to collect our car but the car wasn’t ready, it was being washed. That’s fine, I’d expect to wait another 10/15 minutes
Over 30 minutes of waiting in the direct sun and after having to go and ask where the car is, the car arrived.
The car itself was great, no issues.
In returning the car, you have to go through a barrier, you’ll get stuck here as they don’t give you the means to enter. I had to get out and walk to the office, ask for a code or a pass to left the barrier, I explained my predicament, “what” the lady behind the desk shouted, I explained again, she said there is no code, just drive close behind the car in front and go through!
Wow!!!!
So luckily I could leave my partner in the car so I could leave the car at the barrier.
I had to walk all the way back to the car and then we waited for another car to pull in front so we could follow them in hoping the barrier didn’t come down.
Luckily we didn’t have to wait long to get the car processed and we could be on our way.
We noticed a lot of these smaller rental companies (walking past them a million times) don’t have lots of staff and the wait times look horrendous.
When we arrived, we saw loads of people lying on the floors out side of these offices waiting to be processed for their rental cars. Luckily they had grass to lie on.
I’d go with a bigger car hire company maybe inside the terminal building.
Thank you so much to Rosaria for all

Não utilize a FELIRENT na Italia (Do not use FELIRENT in ITALY)
"The rental company Felirent in Milan is terrible. Avoid renting a car from them as much as possible. Picking up the car took over 3 hours. We arrived at the rental office at 8:00 PM (local time) and left with the vehicle at 10:30 PM (local time). There was only one overworked and stressed employee handling multiple customers. Each customer (there were 3 before me) took about an hour on average to complete the rental paperwork and requests. The place had poor lighting. The reserved car wasn’t available, so we were forced to accept a similar but inferior vehicle or go without a car. There was no formal inspection upon vehicle handover. We tried recording a video, but due to the low lighting, the footage came out too dark. The pickup experience was horrible. The attendant (different from the one who handed over the car) was extremely rude. She accused me of damaging the vehicle twice, but video and photo evidence disproved all claims. Still, she charged me 260.00 Euros for a scratch less than 2 cm long on the rear bumper, which I didn’t cause and was already there at pickup. She tried every way to intimidate me, threatening not to give me the contract closing document and saying I’d miss my flight. When I said I’d call the police, the same attendant claimed the police would have 'a few splits and drinks' for her while she was threatening and blackmailing me. I only managed to leave the rental office an hour and a half after the scheduled return time without agreeing to pay. They still send me payment demands and threats via email."
Paid, left stranded, no car, no refund — avoid this company
We booked and prepaid a rental car directly on Felirent.it, including airport pickup from Malpensa. They had our flight details, but no one showed up. No representative, no instructions, no contact point. After waiting, we found a Felirent shuttle by chance — the driver told us to wait 5 minutes and never came back.
We were left stranded at night for over 1.5 hours. No response from phone or email — apparently they close at 22:00, even though they know flights arrive later. We had to pay for our own transport to the hotel and were left without the car we paid for.
If you're wondering why this company has such poor ratings — this is exactly why. Unreliable, irresponsible, and unreachable. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to risk losing both your money and your time.
We're requesting a full refund and will escalate this to our bank and European consumer authorities.
Crooks - Truffatori
Because I used a debit card, they forced me to buy "Gold protection" for an extra amount of 148 Euro. This insurance covers everything, according to their conditions. When I brought back the car, it had a scratch on the back bumper. Despite the fact that I was fully covered by the insurance I paid extra, they charged me another 61 Euro. I called back to ask about that, and the lady at the reception, told me she will check and come with an answer. That never happened. When I called again it didn't answer. They also modified the original contract in order to add the extra amount, and used my signature without my consent. This is forgery, a criminal action.
So stay away of these crooks. Rent from somebody else.
