Excellent service provided
Excellent service provided. The experience was warm, compassionate and empathetic. This being the first time of arranging a funeral, I was guided all through. The 4 bearers and the personal funeral conductor were excellent and courteous and gave my loved one a befitting burial. There were lots of positive feedback from family and friends. I would strongly recommend this service.

This was my first time planning a funeral. Melonie was the initial contact and was understanding. I then spoke to another lady who was forthright on what to expect and fees, which I found refreshing as other funeral directors were needlessly gushy which I saw through and annoyed me. Next contact was David who was warm and had great recommendations. All in all, a positive experience and the day went ahead smoothly. Thanks Fenix
Excellent caring service
From the very first call right to the end I cannot say how wonderful sincere empathetic and caring they were. I would say they went over and above of my expectations. I will always be thankful of this during such a hard period of time . I asked many maybe random questions but wss important to me and they made them important to them nothing too much trouble.
Special mention to Mojda Hashemyan who was my first contact along with Christopher Webb who then became my contact .

Hello, I wrote this really late but I just want to say that the service from Fenix Funerals has been perfect from the beginning till the end. I was assigned to T***** and she helped me throughout the entire process and she was a godsend. This was the first time for me and she guided me throughout and I couldn't thank her enough.

Exceptional service.
Myself and my brother dealt with Emily Cross, during the loss of our mother. We had never arranged a funeral before but Emily was absolutely brilliant, she communicated every step of the way and went above and beyond to make it a less stressful experience than it already was. Everything was done with the upmost respect and she adhered to my mums wishes which was beautiful. Thank you so much Emily for all of your work, I will highly recommend you if there is anyone else is in the unfortunately situation of having to arrange a funeral. You will always be remembered.

Fenix funeral directors doing a great service. Our contact Liz really fast to response to any questions on phone and emails. She is kind and very supportive. We could not do anything by ourselves and we are very grateful what she and her team done to solved any problems.
I would have given them a 0 star but…
I would have given them a 0 star but there is no option for that. In the beginning I dealt with Melonie who came across sincere and caring. After I was passed onto the next person to finalise the payment that was agreed, the gentleman tried to increase the price and when challenged he became very rude, unprofessional and uncaring. I was then passed on to another staff who again tried to increase the price. After complaining, the matter was resolved and I paid the original price that was agreed.
I thought my dilemma was over until 10 months later when we wanted to take the ash overseas. I discovered that the there was no urn as promised and after receiving a quote for £120 for the urn, I was hit with another price of £50 to seal it or put 6 screws in it which supposed to be standard according to the gentleman that sealed the urn. When I checked with 3 other funeral directors, I was quoted a cheaper price with the sealing as standard. I was then later greeted with another £50 charge for so-called travel certificate. Such documentation was already issued by the crematorium for overseas travel. After complaining, the £50 travel certificate cost was removed.
I find Fenix Funeral Director to be very dishonest, uncaring and inconsistent with their pricing. They took advantage of grieving family who are not thinking straight. They claimed to be transparent with their pricing and service but it is far from the truth.
Really disappointed with the unprofessional and dishonest service. I recommend avoiding them. I believe the 5 star reviews are generated by either Fenix, their friends or family members. Absolutely terrible service. managers

Clear process, fees and my options explained well. Everything, except the high price tag.
Some may prefer to visit premises to make arrangements for the loss of a loved one but I was content to deal with everything remotely. Fenix exclaimed every step of the process, the options available to me and fees involved. It all worked very well and at fair price. It won’t be for everyone but it suited my needs and preferences.

The whole process was smooth and the funeral was well arranged. Liz my contact responded quick to take actions to my requests and solved any problems. The Celebrant Shirley was brilliant, sympathetic and sincere.

My dad wanted a simple send off with just only the closest family at the crematory. But we held a Church service for friends, colleagues and far relatives to attend before hand which was a beautiful occasion, it could not have been possible without the guidance and advice from the lovely Maria our Director and David our conductor on the day.

Only constructive Critism would be when planning the visual tribute either edit it yourself or they need to check the length of music you have given matches the photos , as the music cut out when the photos were still going- this could have been avoided if they tested it before the service and they could have sped up the photos- if in doubt just edit it yourself
