Making the booking easy

I needed to book a return trip to NI from Scotland to visit students. The process was easy and clear. Information was presented clearly. I had to question why when last year I left it to the college to book my tickets they managed to book the wrong way eg the booked me to travel outward from NI

Best price available to me this morning

Not only was it the best price it was very easy to book, only problem was i was booking this for my husband to return from France the booking came through as me as the main passenger. may be you have to adjust booking for to ask who is travelling not just the age.
Thankfully after one simple phone call this was rectified!

It could have been easier.

It was only when I reached the payment stage that I was told there would be a charge for credit card payments. I then had to go and fetch my debit card and begin again.

Hi Malcolm,

Thank you for getting in touch. We can confirm we apply a 3% handling fee to transactions paid using a commercial/business card. This is to cover ourselves against the costs we incur from the bank.

All of our handling fees are displayed prior to committing to a purchase. Please note we do not apply any handling fees to personal debit cards.

Kind regards,

Better than Blue Star!

Multiple attempts to buy tickets from Blue Star Ferries, Greece but their site could never complete the booking. Thankfully simple process with Ferries.co.uk and journey went without problem , thank you!

In general was a good experience

It was a good experience, but I was an able to place my luggage in a suitable place! I had to leave behind some seats, also the variety of the food is not much, specially for the vegetarians and the ones in a diet.

Ferry cancelled ...train fars lost ..had to drive and park at extra cost ...not good

Informed by Condor ferries night before sailing that Weymouth ferry cancelled and going much later.
Had to drive to Poole at extra cost, park at cost of £42. Lost all rail fares.
Not impressed.
