I was told I didn't qualify for the new…

I was told I didn't qualify for the new customer rebate, though I was never a Fi customer. I couldn't sign up as a new member because I made an inquiry under my main email 3 years earlier. After several hours on the phone I was told to sign up under a different email, which seems ridiculous, but I did. I ordered the phone, and it was delivered to the wrong address. I told them, they refunded it, but when I tried to order a new phone I was told I wasn't a new customer again because I previously ordered a phone from them. Another few hours on the phone, and again, I was told to do it under a new email. So I did, i bought the phone with the rebate, and began paying bills under the new email. Then, a month later I was told i owed the rebate back because I didn't meet the qualifications for a new customer. It turns out I was automatically connected to my main email, and even though I purchased the phone with my new customer email, it was activated from my old email. I spent several hours on the phone explaining all that happened, and they said my case should not be an exception, and that I had to pay back the rebate. Finally I convinced them to send the case up to a manager. i was told I would hear back in 24 to 72 hours. Two weeks later, I have not heard back. I’m sure it is possible to get the rebates they advertise, it’s also clear that they do everything they can to ensure you don’t.

Thiefs and Dumb people at work is the moto

Even English is not my first language, I can tell that either they do not understand English or they are really dumb. No matter how much information you send to them they wouldn't even read your email and revert with an absurd answer that it will not do any good to resolve your issue.

I opted for a trade in while Buying a new phone and the trade in kit was stuck somewhere, they sent me a new kit upon describing the issue, however, the status for my trade in is still showing awaiting for the old phone as the new kit they sent had a different tracking ID, I have sent the proofs to them from USPS that the kit has been delivered but there is no one who may help to get it updated and get me my money back.

They will simply not help if you approach them, or revert with something irrelevant to the issue and keep on saying do not worry. They have kept my phone as well and not ready to update the status.

I will probably return their phone and knock the court's door to get my old phone back or the money.

Please stay away from them.

Poor onboarding system

I recently created a group plan for 2 users. I am still trying to set up one of the users. I have chatted online with customer service 4 times and each time they have given me advice which didn't resolve the issue. omg. Very very poor and frustrating onboarding service. If I don't figure out how to activate the 2nd user in time, Google will charge me extra for the phones that i got through them when i set up the account. omg. Would not go through this again. I don't recommend.

pixel, pixel xl worthless after 3 years.

Wife and I bought pixel and pixel xl 3 years ago and now now more security updates. A phone should last more than 3 years. I guess google does not stand behind their phones. Then only gives a lousy $35 trade in value. Customer service is crap. Company is going down hill fast. Read people are also having trouble paying bill, they cut service through no fault of customers and won't release phone number to go to another service, so big hassle.

Customer Service Review

Customer Service Review: Google Fi Customer Service agents deceived me. I bought a new phone for a relative, hoping to get $199 voucher promotion. I enrolled the new line and contacted Customer Service agent specifically asking to verify that I satisfied the terms of the promotion. I was not prepared to keep the line and the phone without the promotion. I was assured by a Google Fi agent that all I need to do now is to keep paying for the line to be active. After several months of waiting I contacted Google Fi again and was advised to wait longer. After another month I contacted again and was told that in fact there was a term in the promotion which I did not satisfy at the very beginning (and Google Fi knew this all this time), they will not be giving me the promised $199 and there will be no compensation for the lies I had been told.

Didn't get service in Alaska and didn't…

Didn't get service in Alaska and didn't work in Bulgaria despite saying it should. Apart from that the service has been pretty good, it's definitely easy for people who travel a lot. Customer service is available easily and they try hard even if they've ultimately been unhelpful a couple of times. Relative to other cell carriers though it's good.

Customer service review

Customer service review. Terrible (it used to be excellent, top notch) now, it is down right the worst thing ever. We have been waiting for 4 months to receive a refund for our phone that was returned. They have acknowledged that the phone is in their possesion, but they still are having trouble understanding a refund. Do not recommned.

Project fi: the best phone service PERIOD!

I've been using project fi now for about 4 months. For 2 years I had Verizon prepaid wireless, which means I had bad quality phones, and even worse quality service. I couldn't even make a phone call from inside my house. Since being on fi, I have saved a lot of money. And that's with 2 financed devices, and 2 phone plans. My bill is STILL Cheaper than with Verizon, and I can make phone calls indoors! Plus you get credited each month for any unused data. I live in a very rural area, and have not have one problem with service yet, and the support staff is amazing! Make the switch, you won't be sorry!
