Fibershirts Reviews 2

Prior to using Fibershirts I'd been using those disposable adhesive sweat pads. They've been good and saved me from some sweaty moments but they're not perfect: they can come loose and when the weather gets hot or stress is really high (or both!) they have failed me. This, plus the fact they're not environmentally or economically viable, I decided to try an undershirt.

I'm thrilled and couldn't recommend these shirts more! I've just returned from a 3 week business trip to Southern China where it is peak summer so these shirts were put to the absolute test: waiting outside airports for shuttle buses and taxis, walking around the cities in the day and night...there were zero sweat marks on any of my shirts and they actually seemed to keep me cooler than when I went without! Plus, I only took two of these shirts with me to try so I had to wash and dry them every night but by the next day they were dry and clean and fresh to wear - incredible technology.

I was so impressed with the inital two I bought I've ordered 5 more, including some in black for full versatility. These shirts may seem costly at first but they're incredible and will save money and my conscious as they'll be worn every day.

The only negative aspect I found was delivery times as they did take about 2-3 weeks to arrive. Not a huge issue but I was expecting them somewhat sooner. However, good things come to those who wait. (Someone else's review had this point as a dominating factor in giving a 3 star reivew without even trying the shirt. They should really have tried the shirts as they're excellent and cheaper than any I've seen elsewhere but I understand their grievance. However, delivery times don't impact how impressive these shirts are)

I ordered a couple of items on a Monday evening, hoping that they would probably arrive by the Saturday. This was based on a FAQ item on fibershirts.co.uk that stated:

"Orders placed before 23:59 are shipped the same day. The delivery time for the UK and Ireland is 2-5 working days, so the delivery often arrives the next day. As soon as the order has been placed you will receive an e-mail with a track-and-trace code."

I understood the risk that they wouldn't arrive in time for me leaving for a holiday on Sunday, but was prepared to accept the consequences. However, by Wednesday evening, when I got in touch to check, I was told the items hadn't even been dispatched! I was also told "normally orders to the UK ship within 3-5 business days"; there's a huge difference between a "delivery time [of] 2-5 days" and "ship within 3-5 days"!

On pointing out this issue, I was told "We will adjust the FAQ page on our website as soon as possible as it seems that this information only applies to the Dutch market."; so why is this on a .co.uk website, and why does it specifically mention UK and Ireland?

I cancelled my order, so can't comment on the quality of their products but, having bought from other .co.uk sites, that are obviously fronts for non-UK businesses, yes still received my order in 2-3 days, I feel 3-5 days before they even send out an order is ridiculous (especially when that statement conflicts with what their FAQ claims).
