No commitment or action to work promises
Summary of our experience at getting a work commitment from fiberspanuk after receiving a full quotation.
Since the 27/09/2023 we have received no further communication from fiberspanuk.
What we got from them was empty promises, maybe the job for them was too small or too big. They should stop promoting in big shows and start keeping their promises. We would have preferred if they’d just told us we can’t do the job, we would have got someone else. We will now have to get the job done in the summer by someone else.
Timeline of communication failure:- - - -
06th May 2023: Introduction with Fiberspanuk at the Grand Design Show
24th May 2023 : Roofing quotation receive from Fiberspanuk
Got in touch with the Manager (Phillip) straight away and told him we are very happy with the quotation and asked when they could start the job.
After which, we have been chasing for a date for work to commence. We have been constantly ringing and constantly been told very busy, ring after 2 weeks, ring after 3 weeks, can’t recall how many excuses we have been told so far, on many occasions it goes into voicemail, which keeps prompting “Voicemail is full”.
6th September 2023 : 4 Months later our email to Fiberspanuk
My husband rang up customer service and again left a message to ring back, which was pointless.
We were going again to Homebuilding & Renovating Show on 24/09/23 and Knew Fiberspanuk had a stall, spoke with Peter who was going to speak to the Manager (Phillip) and reconfirm when they will be able to do the work.
26th September 2023: Email to Peter who promised to respond the next day 25/09/23.
Explained that we’ve been waiting 5 months (143 Day) from the last show at Excel on 06/05/23.
Peter told us and promised us that he would speak to Philip the same evening to find out why there has been so much delay as we have been extremely patience so far. I hope the company does not disappoint us.
27th September 2023: Reply from Peter (Fiberspanuk), with no apologies or date to commence work, just more excuses not to commit to a work schedule.
Good morning Mr & Mrs X
Thank you for visiting me at the show over the weekend and i have passed this over to Philip, obviously he is under immense pressure at the moment purely down to the weather, trying to juggle jobs and customers when being so behind is somewhat challenging in itself let a lone the mental strain this brings among us all but we are doing our upmost to keep up with work load, its never our intentions to upset customers in anyway what’s so ever, so please be assured we are doing all we can.
Take care and all the very best
Peter
