Recent Website Changes

Ever since the recent up(down)grade using the Fidelity site has been a nightmare. Some of the links to "fund provider" (even for their own products) don't work and when seeking to do several different checks one is frequently taken to the "Investment Finder" page instead of to the "Fund prices" page. And, maddeningly, the latest price is often not viewable on the main listing - only by clicking on the link to the individual fund - but then using the back button just takes you to the general search again.

In Fidelity I Trust

I have been with Fidelity for 40+ years and very satisfied in all aspects of their business. They constantly upgrade their services and their software tools. Their guidance as well as training videos and opinions are of high quality and reliability.

they sent my pension to wrong account the issue a check to wrong address now i’m still waiting 3rd time over 3 weeks from my original due date

First they sent my pension to wrong account after I called and confirmed the update account was on file . then had to wait for it it bounce back for week to issue a paper check since they no longer could use the correct account. Then somehow they mailed it to wrong address after i told them all the correct information and online showed correct people can’t read . Once again canceled that check wait issue new check . You would think a company like this would have it together but definitely not . The reps have no clue and each one tells me something different . Complete mess and still waiting on lump sum check for the 3 rd time with internal mistakes. They said will overnight it. They could not provide my a tracking # said it was sent will be there next day. I had to call usps to dig deep see if i had anything arriving on my account . They stated a shipping tracking number created but waiting on sender aka Fidelity. So you didn’t even send it just created a tracking number and to lazy to drop it off to USPS. This was Wednesday and I called about this on Friday and rep said we don’t send over weekend . I said great Wednesday when it was created was not a weekend last time I check once again internal is a mess no responsibility. Will never deal with this company ever. Closing my other accounts and glad a pulled my 401K 6 months ago which was another headache won’t even talked about I hope someone with executive level reads this and takes actions.

I regret there is no zero stars to give to Fidelity Investments and their supervisor Thomas that literally hung up the phone when I asked if I could get...not the name of his supervisor, but a title of the supervisor!!.. I asked is it a manager or director of "customer services department.. I want to address them". Thomas said: NO.. Thomas was so rude on Jan 29th, 4:20 pm call, I was shocked. NO APOLOGIES for giving incomplete wiring instructions. No nothing. Awful company! The worst customer service. DO NOT TOUCH this company!! You will lose your money

Horrible online experience, no privacy

Their website automatically logs you out every 15 seconds. Yes, seconds! Unable to access credit card site, " access denied". Try to get anything done in less then 15 seconds. Only solution from "customer service" was to turn off VPN. Because, you know... who in this day and age would possibly want privacy for their financial data! Of course it's not them, and they can't explain how every other bank and financial site works, except theirs! Totally out of touch!

We had our 401k with Mosaic managed by Fidelity. We never received any sort of email or a letter in the mail and not even a secured message. They rolled our account without giving us any chance to avoid the stock market dropping almost 900 points on January 20th 2026. We ended up losing over 3.5% on My wife's portfolio. I plan on filing a complaint with the following agencies. I asked AI who would handle the complaints and if this helps anybody else out this is what AI says to do when you're feeling like you got bent over backwards by an investment firm:

To report shady investment practices and recover losses, file complaints with FINRA, the SEC, your State Securities Regulator, and potentially the CFPB, while also considering FINRA Arbitration/Mediation, contacting the FBI (IC3) for fraud, and potentially hiring a securities lawyer for larger cases, as these bodies investigate and provide avenues for resolution and restitution. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Agencies & Bodies:

1. FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Handles most brokerage firm issues; file online for disputes, misconduct, or fraud by brokers/firms.
2. SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission): For broader fraud or issues with investment advisors and funds; use their Investor Complaint form.
3. State Securities Regulator: Your state's regulator handles local issues and can take action against bad actors.
4. CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau): For complaints about financial products/services, including some investment-related issues.
5. FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): Report online investment scams or business fraud. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Having to deal with a 401k Power of Attorney. Submitted the documents and was told it would be 3-5 business days to process and even have an email showing it. Called Customer Service and they didnt care and told me the process was up to 4 weeks! This isn't using the funds for my benefit its for someone else. No one takes accountability - and no one is willing to do anything to help or make up for the misinformation besides they could put a note that I was requesting it to be expedited despite the fact that I have to be the one calling in order to get any communication whatsoever. When I talked with a manager all they said was to call back in in a few days to see if there was any progress - again asking me to follow up! No accountability whatsoever. What an awful company experience.

Holding "cashed" funds is illegal....

I've been a Fidelity Investment customer for 15 years. I've traded with them and I also have a cash account with them. Last year, I was able to mobile with no deposit a check for about 30k with no issue. My check was verified and made available within 2-3 business days. I deposited a check for only 1k this week, and after the 3rd day the check was still pending. When I called Fidelity, they advised that they would be HOLDING my funds for 2 weeks! Would not explain why, just 2 weeks. I reach out to the check issuer to put a stop on the check to settle for ACH or wire transaction, only to find that Fidelity has already CASHED the check a few days ago, and still holding my funds (which feels illegal). I have already filed a complaint with their management and now filing with the Better Business Bureau, as these practices do not seem legal. Holding already cashed funds....

Called to make a withdrawal. Still on hold, after 20 minutes. Spoke with "Tonya" to verify who I am. On hold again. Call is now over 25 minutes. More blah, blah, blah.. On hold again. Transferred to another person. FINALLY! Mission accomplished. Total time on phone: 33 min 45 sec. Account is closed and "check is in the mail". Never again.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They will lock your credit card, make it so the only way to unlock your credit card is by calling in, and then make you wait over 30 minutes to even get helped. Absolutely awful. If it wasn’t for credit age being so important I would cancel it and never look back.

Fidelity goes above and beyond!

Fidelity goes above and beyond for customers. I was recently overseas and needed to get some things done at the end of the year 2025. The rep was amazing. She went out of her way to help me and gave me her direct business cell phone number. We got everything done which was stress free after I was able to email the documents. Many times I have been impressed with them, helping me with any issue whatsoever. I continue to reccommend Fidelity to all my friends.

There is no way to complain about a rude customer representative. I talked to a customer representative who was rude, not helpful, provided wrong information and hung up the phone on me.Though I called again and talked to another person who was very professional and answered all my questions there was no way for me to complain about the prior representative.

I withdrew my pension from USAA through fidelity and since November I have been told everything was all set for deposit on Jan 1, 2026. However they added a number to my account and deposited to the wrong account. I keep calling not getting any answers I am being told I just have to wait the is unacceptable. Clearly I took this money out because I needed it. They made this mistake I did not this should be something they can fix on their end. I am so upset I will close any accounts I have with them and tell everyone I know. We are better off having our money with Charles Schwab. No one over there is taking accountability for their error. They will not allow me to speak with anyone else there at all!! This is not okay I have been dealing with this since November. Please if anyone in Corporate can call me or reach out to me. This is not my mistake I need my money.

secret exchange rates

as a foreign investor, it is important for me to know what exchange rates fidelity offer,

how can a firm who tries to be a serious actor keep this information secret? assuming you are trying to scam everyone not dealing in dollars.
