One of the scammiest experience
One of the scammiest experience I've ever had with the customer support. Of no utility at all, only tries to upsell. Pure scammers.
My Fido account was closed in June…
My Fido account was closed in June 2025, and I have been waiting for a refund since July. I have contacted customer service multiple times, but I received no help. The support agents even make basic mistakes, such as getting the address wrong. As of October, the issue is still unresolved. Very disappointing experience.
I paid my bill on the 29th
I paid my bill on the 29th, and now my next monthly bill is due, and that bill is showing the payment I just made as NOT being paid, despite it showing in my history, so now my bill is $100 higher, and they threw late charges on top of that, despite me not being late.
I won't be able to contact a human until my scheduled appointment tomorrow, and these virtual assistants are no help. This is by far the worst experience I have had with a phone provider.
Fido has no customer loyalty!
I was with fido for 8 years, my last contract just ended,my phone payments of 27 dollars ended. To my suprise my bill only dropped 7 dollars. I tried to get a less expensive plan but they told me it was only for new customers. So I got angry and switched to koodo
Hard to reach customer service and unhelpful
Very hard to reach a customer service specialist, have to wait three full business days to talk to someone. I also for some leniency with some payments and they were condescending and unhelpful.

I signed up with Koodos in 2022, not knowing how their customer service worked. Scheduling the call back was frustrating because you call when you have free time!
Not able to get the customer service on time, in less than a year I switched to Fido.
Now, fido has implemented the same customer service.

Called to enquire about 2nd final bill, was unable to reach a person. Went thru their "make appointment" for a call back only to have the rep put me on hold and then hang up. No call back, nothing. Had to cancel the credit card used for auto pay and try and make another appointment. This is NOT customer care! Glad I cancelled. Funny thing, no problem reaching a person when you call and select Sales😟
Absolutely useless customer support
Absolutely useless customer support. Unprofessional service. They sell old numbers without deleting their history from the database, causing a lot of inconvenience to new users due to constant calls to the previous owner. They push third-party services. Unjustified billing policy. Blocks without warning. I do not recommend them.

I will never suggest anyone use Fido, I purchase a line 7 years ago and then I was paying it, they suggest me a free data + tablet with no needed to paying, I canceled my account 3 years ago and now Im seeing in my bank account that they were withdrawing monthly 14 dollars from my account for 3 years without my permission. please do not accept any loyalty reward from FIDO because it will be withdraw money without permission.

Very annoying customer service and very bad at resolutions. How can you send a package and auto fill the shipping address from my the billing address provided on the account and still get it wrong?

Fido customer
I am a Fido customer for 15 years now and I was satisfied, with pretty much everything- including very good customer service- they were fast, knowledgeable and helpful. THEY WERE.
The customer service literally doesn't exist anymore with Fido. The virtual assistant is poorly done, not helpful at all.
You can't reach a live agent, they schedule your call back and then it's not happening on the scheduled time.
You pay more for extra data- but they put obstacles to using it just to charge you extra for " long distance call " - when in fact it was a Viber call for which they already charged you through your data.
I don't recommend Fido anymore, it's become horrible and I am looking to change my phone provider after 15 years. Sad
