I’ve been working with Akua since October 2024. She developed a plan to help build strength alongside my marathon training. I noticed a big improvement in both my running times and my recovery. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in personal training - she gave me a lot of confidence in the gym! She is extremely friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
I started training with Akua after returning back to work/the gym after being on maternity leave. Having been quite active in the gym pre baby I was quite surprised how quickly I had lost my confidence with exercise. Akua listened to me in the initially consultation about what my goals were and then devised a fitness and meal plan to get started and to focus on for the first 4-6 weeks. We met weekly in person and I was impressed with how she made each session slightly different and interesting, but also incorporated the things I had said I enjoyed in the past. The programmes she set me were easy to follow and I could see progress. We trained weekly in person for 6 months and I was able to see results on the scales after a matter of weeks from the advice and direction she gave me. This continued throughout our time. I could see the difference in my body shape, and more importantly how I felt in terms of energy/confidence/strength. Unfortunately due to work/life commitments I had to stop our sessions, but she has definately restored my confidence in training and given me the tools to continue working to my goals independently. Thank you!
Akua has really listened to what I want to achieve and has put together a plan to help me get there. I'm already feeling stronger and closer to my goals in just a few weeks. I look forward to our sessions because they are tailored to me and hold me accountable, which is exactly what I need. I always enjoy the session and leave ready to face the day.

I’m glad I met Akua, she’s been tracking my fitness journey and has been very helpful. Whenever I have a question she’s always up for a chat. Thanks to her program I’ve been finally seeing good results on myself. I highly recommend her teachings as they’re really effective!

As of September 2023 I've spent five months with Akua working on core strength and fitness due to health issues. She was a breath of fresh air in comparison to other personal trainers I'd met, in regards to the time she spent getting to know my needs and creating unique fitness plans for me. I've been meeting her once a week since then and have continued to increase my performance every single week. She's been understanding if i've needed to switch times or reschedule and strikes the exact right balance towards pushing me and being understanding if i'm pushing myself too much. I couldn't recommend her enough.

The app is very easy to use and what I like the most is the chat, it makes it very easy and quick way to communicate with the coach.
In addition, Akua is amazing! Love how she engaged, listens and always willing to help.

Akua Agyei has been helping train since recuperating from my illness. She was diligent and careful to tailor my plan to my needs and show me how to progress through various stages. I used the fitness app figr8fitness.com which I found instrumental in ensuring I was keeping on track through my set workouts and the added points where I was able to track my progress, blood pressure and resting hb. The app offered me a way to connect with Akua and we could speak regularly on my progress or any points as well a log of all my workouts which I knew Akua would have access to in order to keep a check on progress. Akua was always professional, very informative and knowledgeable about the necessary process to making the most of the workouts she gave me and that at no point I would injure myself ensuring that dynamic and static stretches / warm ups were followed. I would highly recommend both her as a fitness professional instructor and the app which both facilitates and inspires the user to do the very best in their training journey.
