Customer Service was excellent

LAURE was so quick in assisting me with unsubscribing from the service and refunding my money. I thought this’ll be “lost case” on my part as I didn’t realise what I’ve been subscribed for. It helped me tremendously. Thanks again!

Be wary of unintended subscriptions

Like many others are reporting, I tried the Fileworld product for the translation of a single PDF document, and paid €0.60 via credit card. The service was actually quite poor with only part of the document translated and I wrote that off to experience.
However two days later I saw an unexpected on my credit card statement for €19.95 from Fileworld and after investigating discovered that this related to a recurring subscription, to be paid every 4 weeks. I immediately cancelled this "subscription" and wrote to the company to complain. In fairness the complaint was handled very swiftly and professionally by Mia in their support team and a refund was applied to my credit card statement the same day as my complaint. Without Mia's input my rating would have been 1*.
I very rarely sign up to on-going subscriptions and I like to think that I am reasonably savvy about such matters; it was certainly never my intention to sign up to a subscription in this instance. The fact that so many others report similar experiences suggest that there is a lack of transparency in the sign-up process with Fileworld. Be careful!

Hello,

We are sorry to hear about your experience and we understand your feelings regarding the situation you are describing.

We are however pleased to see that your request was handled quickly by our support team and that a refund was issued on the same day as your complaint.

Regarding how the service works, the offer starts with a €0.60 payment granting access to a trial period. If no cancellation is made within the timeframe indicated during sign-up, this period automatically converts into a subscription that renews every 4 weeks. This information is displayed before payment confirmation in order to ensure transparency about how the offer works.

We regret that this may have caused confusion and understand that your experience may have been disappointing.

We remain at your disposal if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

Kind regards,

Hade some problems BUT…

We initially experienced some payment issues and confusion, which honestly made me concerned about the company at first. However, I was completely wrong.

I contacted their support team regarding the issue, and they responded very professionally and resolved everything within about an hour. I truly appreciate the fast, respectful, and efficient customer service they provided.

The platform itself is also very smooth and easy to use for file conversions and similar services. Everything works quickly and conveniently.

A big thank you to the support team for handling the situation so professionally. In my experience, this company deserves 10/10 stars, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing these kinds of services.
