Just don’t bother buying from them

I hate to leave a bad review, but I bought a piece of Chinese furniture that is absolutely not worth the price. I expected solid wood, but it is all made of a thin fake layer, therefore light and fragile ... the finishing then peels off to the touch in some places. So I thought about sending it back but, guess what?, obviously the expense would be entirely on me in exchange for a voucher not a refund, at least according to their policy. Are you reading? If i may, just don’t bother…

EDIT (two weeks later):
"In the end, I decided to give the piece away and move on. However, I believe it’s fair to acknowledge that the company reached out to me after reading my review and politely offered several options to address my dissatisfaction so that I would remove the review.
In the end, I chose not to accept, as I felt it was more appropriate to stand by my assessment. I still hold my opinion about the product, but I recognize that the company made a respectful effort to find a solution."

Dear Francesco,

Thank you for your honest and detailed update. We truly appreciate that you took the time to share not only your initial experience but also our efforts to follow up with you in a respectful and solution-oriented manner.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the item didn’t meet your expectations. While there were no structural defects or damages, we fully understand that perceived value and material expectations can differ, especially with handcrafted items like this. Our goal is always to ensure our customers feel they have received value for their investment, and we take your concerns seriously, we fully respect that perception of quality is subjective. Your feedback is valuable and helps us better communicate the nature and finish of our products in the future.

After receiving the product, we reached out to you not to dismiss your concerns, but to try to find a fair and respectful resolution. As part of this, we offered a significant partial refund, as well as a free return with a full refund — all outside of our standard return policy. These gestures were extended purely out of goodwill, and with full respect for your dissatisfaction, despite the product meeting its described standards. While we understand and respect your decision not to accept, we hope it’s clear that our intention was sincerely focused on making things right.

Thank you again for acknowledging our follow-up efforts. We’re grateful that you acknowledged the respectful tone and the effort we made to offer a resolution. While we regret that none of the proposed options felt suitable for you, we appreciate your openness in sharing your final thoughts.

Should you ever wish to revisit one of the solutions we offered, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team remains available and committed to supporting you in any way we can.
Kind regards,

Customer Service

Do not buy if you are not sure and want to return

I really don't like leaving negative review but I must admit that I am exasperated. I bought three lamps shades for 350 €, I returned them as I did not like them. I had to chase several times for repayement and now I have received reimbursement for only one. The 350 € were debited on the 4TH of March and the 123 € received in reimbursement for only one credited on the 21st of April. It is a shame that this is not followed properly. I am still hoping to resolve this issue.

Completely unacceptable

Completely unacceptable: I ordered 2 Room dividers (Japanese paravents) which this company sent twice damaged. They were returned but They have now cancelled my order and have not reimbursed me despite polite emails and phone call.

I am satisfied by the service

The item was lost due to an issue with the address. However, the customer service supported me in finding and shipping it to the right address. I am now satisfied with the item, and it looks like in the picture. The quality is good, and the design is very nice. Suggested!
