Well designed furniture does not have to be ugly or purely functional either, they have selected manufacturers that can satisfy a variety of style preferences while still providing the right posture.

I walked into Fineback, quite simply to replace an office chair. Over a weekend of work in a new chair , I am now not the usual aching and fatigued person, am more efficient and content than in many years of (mainly routine computer, especiallly lap top work), and I have bought the best office chair in 30 years of management life.

David Holloway tempts you into discussion, persuades a full test drive before sale, tailors adjustment to personal need, not to high cost, from a wide range of sample stock. And he then sets up the final choice to match, adding inexpensive aids from stock to improve ergonomics for eye and hand.
Highly recommended.

Bought the Moll Runner desk and Maximo chair after quite a bit of online research and talking to David Holloway from Fineback, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The desk and chair arrived promptly and we were kept informed as to what was happening, they were easily put together and seem very sturdy and well made so hopefully will last quite a few years. We were attracted by the fact that the desk can be raised as the child grows. Fineback were a pleasure to deal with and the service and advice we received from David was first rate and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I had back problems for years. And years ago I bought an RH chair, but in terms of how it was put together, I had no or little advice. Turns out it probably also was the wrong advice.
Years later, I contacted Fineback Furniture to purchase a standing desk and a move stool, as my back flared up and I could not longer sit at all, particularly in my expensive RH chair.
Although my flare up may not be directly related to that chair, it was so badly adjusted, that my condition got better after I got proper advice on how to adjust it by David at Fineback.
I'm still looking forward to working at a standing desk, especially after decades of sitting in offices. However, I cannot thank these guys enough for being so good at what they do. Had I gone to them before, I would have saved myself a lot of pain. Thanks to David's advice I could meet my deadline.
Will return to them for anything else related to postural issues, furniture for the office and will certainly recommend them to my friends and colleagues. Fineback is a totally appropriate name!

We have worked with FineBack twice now, once after my daughter underwent spinal surgery, and recently after I myself had spinal surgery also. David really knows his subject, and will go that extra mile to be quite sure he provides the best possible solution. A visit to the shop results in a pressure-free, often intriguing journey around the various products on display to determine what is right for you as an individual. A great buying experience, and a great result. If you have back problems, head for London Colney. You will be glad you did.

PS: Since the above review, our wonderful A J Way "Dunster" chair has been delivered, several days ahead of schedule. Fineback's guys positioned and assembled it for us in not time at all. Only issue now is that I can't get my wife out of it! Quite the most comfortable and, indeed, therapeutic item of furniture we have ever experienced. A brilliant recommendation by David and precisely what we needed.

I went to FineBack Furniture to find the right chair for my home office - and I am extremely pleased that I did.
Having struggled with various back/neck problems for years - all resulting from countless hours in front of a computer, bad posture and lack of exercise - I was at the stage when my current setup just wasn't working any more, and was causing me pain. I have tried contacting two companies based in Central London; but found both to be somewhat inattentive and overbearing in telling me what they thought I needed. In fairness, they did try - but personally I found them lacking. By contrast, David from FineBack was wonderful. He spend a good hour with me doing a workplace assessment - some of the competition charges £50 for the privilege ( we won't point fingers :). Having examined my problem carefully, David walked me through several options, ultimately arriving at what was the best solution for my particular circumstances - a HAG Capisco chair that I am sitting on comfortably right now as I am typing this review.
Last but not least, David honoured their Price Match Promise, even offering a better price than his direct competitor.
Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend FineBack Furniture.
