I signed up to the Finmo Bookkeeper package and I’ve been delighted with the support I’ve had. The whole team have been brilliant and made the process really straightforward. It’s been a huge relief to know that I can now leave my bookkeeping to the experts at Finmo.

I am thrilled with the service provided by Finmo for my small business. We are about to file my second year taxes through them and they are easy and friendly to deal with. No questions are silly ones and they make me feel very comfortable. I pay for their accountancy services on a monthly basis and everything is running smoothly. I would 100% recommend them.

Lucy is an amazing professional. She helped me determine my tax residence status and filed my tax returns. She takes the time to listen and understand your personal circumstances and eases the anxieties of tax filing. I highly recommend her services.

The online platform is poor and comes with errors and broken functionality. The bookmakers don’t ask the right questions, were happy to submit a self-assessment without gathering relevant documents, and made errors in completing it. Didn’t even think to correct the errors prior to submission deadline (I had to suggest). Ignored emails.

CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!

After being let down elsewhere. George and Lucy have been more then helpful with my first tax return, my experience with them both have been very professional and helpful all throughout the process.

I have used Finmo since I started up in business as a sole trader 3 years ago. I was utterly and totally intimidated by the thought of completing my first tax return and worrying if my accounting system had been completed correctly. Staff at Finmo have been brilliant. Jamie has helped me both this year and last and made the whole process seamless and easy. Well worth enlisting their help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Using Finmo leaves me time to concentrate on my business rather than worrying about tax returns!!!

Jamie was recommended to me by a friend to assist with my self-assessments. From the outset, he was professional, clear, and approachable. I initially felt quite stressed and anxious about managing my self-assessments, but once Jamie took over, I experienced a great sense of relief. He responded to my emails promptly and was consistently open and patient in addressing any questions I had. I would highly recommend Jamie’s services and will certainly be using them again in the future.

A 15 minute call with Lucy was all it took for her to understand my needs having just ventured into freelance work. Lucy supported me to submit my self assessment form effortlessly within just a few days. Due to her expert knowledge my tax bill was much lower than what I had orginally calculated and she was able to give me advice on how best to move forward into the new tax year.

Submitting my self assessment, which has been my first, has been made as easy, simple and smooth as possible from start to finish. Nothing was too much for Lucy who has been so helpful throughout the process; Lucy always made herself available to answer any and all questions I had and to help me with ensuring I had all the necessary documentation uploaded in a correct and timely manner. Lucy fully explained every part of the assessment process and provided detailed information so I was fully aware of each step, and didn’t have any outstanding queries. My self assessment was submitted in good time and has now been settled. I look forward to continue working with Lucy on my next self assessments, it has been such a pleasant process (which I imagine is not always the case) - thank you Lucy and thanks Finmo!

I can't fault Charlotte she is the best. She is the most efficient and patient book keeper I have ever met, will never go anywhere else!

Charlotte from Finmo made my first self assessment easy. She was friendly and helpful and I will be using finmo going forward.

Signed up to this and backdated a payment of £240 to sort and categorise my income and bank transactions also this got me an assigned book keeper.
Everything on the app was categorised early on, and I had hoped that the whole process would then complete fairly swiftly.
Communication however was slow. Out of office replies and also their back up colleagues out of office replies at the same time.
I had come on here again to make sure it was an actual company I was dealing with.
The app has significant limitations, nevertheless I was talked around by the book keeper to pay them to give me an accountant , another £119 and told they would submit my tax return.
Its been almost 2 months since first contact. And 6 weeks since signing up to the accountant. I received an email to say my self assessment was ready today. It was slightly wrong, but still would have cost me a couple of hundred pounds more in tax. There was no chat with an accountant regarding tax, I had questions about loss and profit that were unanswered as a result.
No name of accountant. I lost all faith in this company and have decided to entrust someone else with my return.
I feel almost £359 was completely wasted here and the service was well below the 5 star reviews on Trustpilot.
Im a sole trader and feel let down here. I would ask customer service for a refund except I have yet to find who they are, they seem to refer complaints to each other. Very disappointing

I have never heard of Finmo but when we received a call from Charlotte, it was a welcomed call. She helped sort out our self-assessment and got us up and running with being self-employed. She couldn’t have been more helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you Charlotte. We highly recommend.

Charlotte contacted me after I posted on Bark for help with my first self-assessment. I can't recommend Finmo, and especially Charlotte, highly enough.

She has been on hand with every small question and has been so efficient. She talked me through every part of the process, I can only describe her as a ray of sunshine.

I was highly stressed about doing my taxes this year and my anxiety was sky high constantly worrying that I was going to mess it up as I didn't fully understand the process especially as my job is rather specialised.

I finally booked up with Finmo but was still unsure about that decision until Alex jumped on a call with me and put my fears to rest. Alex was super helpful, (very) patient and flexible which I really appreciated especially as I was abroad and my timezone made things rather inconvenient for her yet she remained friendly and positive throughout. She was always there to reassure me in regards to any questions I had. And I had a lot!

Having several eyes on my tax return made me feel less anxious about the process and my gaps in knowledge. The system was pretty user friendly and straight forward. I did need a few clarifications but they were swiftly met by Alex.

I had no experience with my tax accounts or self assessment. I had so many questions and they were all answered; with signposted information, explanations or phone calls. I felt like I had a lot of support. I will definitely be using this service again, every year.

I think if you are a small business, like me, this software and accountancy support is perfect. Value for money.

Finmo is a very easy and helpful to do your tax return.

Alex is very helpful and replays very fast, I was so worried and stressed out about my tax return but Alex sorted it out, recommend to all and expecially new people who are doing there tax return.

First time to use Fiinmo for my self-assessment tax return, it was simple, easy to use, Alex was very helpful and understanding, I'll be using Finmo again.
