I am writing to share a deeply concerning experience with Finotive regarding my funded account, which has caused not only financial inconvenience but also significant psychological and operational distress. I have refrained from public commentary until now, but the lack of proper resolution compels me to document the full extent of the situation.
The issues began when my account was unexpectedly closed due to an administrative error, despite having an active trading plan meticulously prepared for a major XAUUSD correction. Historical trade records clearly show that I primarily target sell positions, and the market moved over 2000 pips in the exact direction of my strategy immediately after the account closure. This disruption caused a severe psychological shock and completely interrupted my workflow.
Although the account was eventually reopened and reset by Finotive, the resolution did not address the practical consequences of the initial mistake:
* My trading strategy was disrupted mid-cycle, losing the planned session structure.
* I was forced to trade under abnormal psychological pressure.
* Extremely high spreads and repeated slippage on XAUUSD forced stop-losses to close at higher losses than intended.
* The cumulative operational and emotional impact ultimately led to a daily drawdown breach, which was not a result of reckless trading, but a direct continuation of the initial error on the platform’s side.
I have attempted to resolve this matter multiple times through official channels, specifically via support ticket #3915242 and concerning account number [80106357]. Despite providing detailed evidence and requesting a fair and proportional resolution, I have received no substantive follow-up.
It is important to note:
* The issue was initially acknowledged by Finotive when the account was reopened, yet the subsequent psychological and operational consequences were not addressed.
* Trading in a paid live environment requires stable, reliable, and fair execution conditions. Errors like this, left unresolved, undermine trust in the platform and directly impact client performance.
* The lack of proper compensation or corrective action sends a concerning signal about how seriously client welfare and execution integrity are treated.
I am not seeking a complaint for emotional reasons. My request is for fairness and operational justice. Given the scale of the disruption, the following steps are reasonable and necessary:
1. Immediate review of trading activity after account reopening, including spreads, execution timestamps, and slippage impact.
2. Recognition that the drawdown breach was a continuation of the platform-side error.
3. Appropriate compensation reflecting the operational and psychological impact of the error.
4. Restoration of a funded account with stable conditions, preferably a 25K Standard account, to allow proper recovery without the restrictive 5-day profit rule.
I am sharing this review publicly to highlight the importance of accountability in a funded trading environment. Paid accounts must be managed with the highest professional standards, and administrative errors must be fully corrected, not partially addressed.
Finotive, if you are reading this review, please contact me directly via the email associated with ticket #3915242 and account [80106357] to resolve this issue comprehensively. Immediate corrective action will restore trust and demonstrate your commitment to client welfare and execution integrity.
This is not merely feedback — it is a call to action to correct an ongoing issue that continues to affect performance and confidence in your platform. I sincerely hope this matter is handled with the seriousness it deserves.
Update: After the public response, I followed up via support ticket #3915242 (account [80106357]), but there has still been no meaningful resolution or follow-up.

I used to have accounts with Finotive when they had the risk per trade rules unfortunately at the time it wasn’t really for me due to my strategy on Swings needing a bit more room to breathe, now since they introduced notional volume it’s been great.
I’ve managed to reach a couple payouts as well for the first time with them, everything has been smooth as long as you follow all the rules, everything is fast, automatic, and support has helped me on all occasions whenever I had any questions.
Love the updated Fino, keep up the great work guys ❤️

Days ago I tried to withdraw an amount and compliance team asked me to fill out a KYC form and assist to a call, the process may be a little frustrating but i understand they do it for security, they was very very helpful and professional, besides that, I failed in one of the steps (assist to the first compliance call because of the time zone difference) and they gave me an opportunity to continue completing the verification, they responded me every email I sent them and finally they solved every issue I had, Thank you so much Finotive!

The slippage issue with Finotive remains unresolved. Most of the positions I have taken on my funded account are affected by this problem. The positions are automatically executed at prices different from the original set levels, including both the entry price and the Stop Loss.
This creates a significant issue because traders are exposed to greater risk than originally planned when a position moves into a loss. At the same time, potential profits are also reduced when a position is in profit. The slippage observed shows very large gaps between the intended price and the executed price.
Other than that, all great including payout with finotive funding.

Absolutely amazing experience. I've tried several prop firms and been satisfied by a few, and utterly disappointed by a few others, so wanted to leave one specially for Finotive as it's been hands-down my favourite over the years and been trustworthy and professional in their dealings.
I've been using Finotive for a couple of years now and have received multiple payouts, without any delay or issues. The rules are clear, good spreads, and a variety of options to choose from in their programs. The payout process is smooth and quick, every Friday and the use of Finotive Pay makes it very convenient.
A special mention to their dashboard, which is industry-leading, very nicely set up and updates in real time. Great experience overall.

I bought a 50k Instant funding for USD1,400/ Properly did my KYC, did proper non risky non abusing trading (actually). I reached my first pay-out of USD1,600 split 80/20. I did my KYC even before starting trading, which got approved. I request a pay-out, which takes supposedly "minutes" to get approved. Mine takes 48hrs. Discord support helpful but can't do much. Friday I get flagged for extended KYC, without any apparent reason. I do it immediately. They say 48hrs. Its now Monday and 72hrs passed. I send an email asking what is going on, instead of a reply, I get an email saying I need to get into a compliance call with them, for Quote
During the call, we will verify:
Your trading strategy & intent
Account activity consistency
Any discrepancies or flagged issues in your trading patterns
Unquote.
All the above for what? Requesting a payout?
All the above feels scammy, discord chat has no contact with compliance and cannot answer compliance questions.
Will update you all on how it goes, but so far my experience is horrible, would highly advise serious traders who want high value accounts to stay away.

I was a previous client of this company, but I stopped trading with them for several reasons. Today I purchased a $10,000 Two-Step Challenge account.I just made my first trade on gold. Initially, I couldn't open a larger lot.0.05My account balance is 10,000, but I can't open more lots than that. When I read the terms and conditions, it says that with a 10,000 account, you can open lots up to 0.4.It's not a big problem; I trade on the currency pair, but when I open a trade on gold, the execution results in a loss of 40 points—30 to 40 points, to avoid any mistakes. Also, when I opened the trade and saw it at this loss, I closed it; the lot size was 0.05.When I clicked on the close button, my loss was $26, but when I checked the transaction history, I discovered it was $44. I don't know. It's a nice company, but it wasn't the best thing on the market then.
I don't want this account anymore. I contacted the support team and shared my account information with them, telling them I can't trade in this environment. My account is down $50, my balance is $10,000, and I bought this account today.
I will wait to see if the company will refund these fees. They are not a large fee, only $60, but this trading method doesn't suit me.

I should have received a payout from Finotive in accordance with their contractual terms. They invented an excuse claiming that I used multiple IP addresses, both American and Italian. From the screenshots they provided, the IP evidence appears to have been manipulated (edited with Photoshop). They showed a single device continuously changing IP addresses within a few seconds. However, changing an IP address requires some time and is not instantaneous. Additionally, they even sent the same American IP twice, which already shows a basic error in their claim. This was clearly used as a justification to deny a payment that was rightfully due to me.
Under the new measures adopted by SumSub, if you use a VPN, SumSub blocks the verification process from the beginning and asks you to disable it. This was not my case, as I successfully provided the requested documents. What Finotive explained is not only false but also violates their own contractual terms.
Reply to your Statements, which are only made to breach profitable traders, and if you cannot pay 1k means you won't have a long life.
Public network information indicates that the first two IP addresses belong to Google LLC infrastructure and are classified as hosting/datacenter IPs. These types of addresses are commonly associated with cloud services, backend routing, or proxy infrastructure used by web services themselves. They do not necessarily represent the actual network location of the end user.

It is with pain in my heart that I’m writing this review. I got banned from this prop firm and my payout of $1,918 denied for doing nothing wrong.
I started trading with them since October 2025, I got few payouts into my finotive pay wallet but never transferred it into my personal account.
This february 2026, I transferred the $404 in my wallet out and requested payout of $1,918 same day. Few hours later I got email saying I need to do elevated KYC”know your customer” which I did immediately.
I got a response to my surprise that I’m banned and my payout siezed because I used a VPN for the verification . I proceeded to appeal the decision because I didn’t use any VPN. The compliance team responded and mentioned that it was because of the internet service I use.
My question is, if you already know that I didn’t use VPN or did anything wrong, why did you go ahead to ban me and Deny my payout? This is same internet I’ve been using but you never had issues with until I requested payout.
I will not rest until this company pays me my money.

Payout Reduced to 10% After Large Withdrawal Request
I had no issues when requesting smaller payouts. However, immediately after requesting a larger payout on my instant funding account, my payout was reduced to 10% under what they call “behavioural enforcement.”
Their marketing promotes transparency and “no hidden rules.” I traded within the stated risk parameters and respected all visible rules. Yet once the payout amount became significant, vague behavioural clauses were applied.
1) High-Impact Trade Dependency (Primary Justification)
They claim a large portion of profitability came from certain trades. Trading is inherently performance-driven. If exposure remains within limits and no risk rules are violated, profitability should not be penalised simply because a trade performs well. Notably, similar trade behaviour did not trigger issues during smaller payout cycles.
2) Position Splitting / Clustered Entries
Opening multiple positions within seconds was labelled as “position splitting.” Scaling into positions is a common and legitimate execution method used for risk management and liquidity considerations. This behaviour was not previously flagged — only after a larger payout request.
3) “Inconsistent” Exposure & Holding Time
They criticised varying lot sizes, instrument switching (XAUUSD, US500, US100), and different holding durations.
Markets are dynamic. During high volatility, some trades naturally reach take profit faster than others. Expecting uniform holding times across instruments and sessions is unrealistic. Over 50% of my trades were held longer than 5 minutes, demonstrating structured participation — not random or outcome-dependent execution.
Adapting to volatility is not misconduct; it is trading.
4) Trading Conditions & Execution Quality
Slippage is noticeable. Stop losses are occasionally executed beyond the set level, and take profits consistently close below the defined target. These execution issues directly affect performance, yet performance metrics are still used to justify payout reductions.
The pattern raises concerns:
Small payouts → processed normally
Larger payout → behavioural violations suddenly identified
This creates the impression that internal discretionary rules are enforced selectively when payouts become substantial.
I previously recommended this firm. Based on this experience, I no longer can.
Traders should carefully review how “behavioural” clauses may be interpreted at payout stage, even when all visible rules appear to be followed.

I am writing this to express my deep frustration with Finotive Funding. After trading with them, my account was suddenly closed and I was permanently banned based on "behavioral findings" such as correlated stacking and directional switching.
The main issue is that these rules are highly subjective. There was no prior warning or chance to adjust my trading style before they decided to forfeit my simulated profits and ban me for life. As a trader, I find it unfair that a firm can unilaterally decide that independent trades are "stacked" just because they occurred within a short timeframe, even if the market conditions justified it.
If you are a trader who scales into positions or reacts quickly to market volatility, be very careful. You might find your account closed without a second chance. Very disappointed with how they handle their "holistic assessment."

This is the best prop company I have ever dealt with! They are set up to help you succeed. Rules are fair and everything is transparent. Have a reasonable trading plan and you will not have any problems.
This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Hidden commissions. Unreasonable spreads. Buy and sell orders from regions far removed from the spreads. This is my account number, and I will never change my mind. #80107579 Screw you.
