I strongly advise against doing…

I strongly advise against doing business with Finsbury Media (finsburymedia.com).

Our company paid over USD 150,000 for services that were not delivered. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the company has failed to fulfill its contractual obligations, has not refunded the funds, and is ignoring all communication.

The company’s director, Chris C. (LinkedIn: chris-c-953a9549), is also not responding to any messages or requests for clarification.

As of today, the matter remains unresolved. Due to the lack of response and refusal to return the funds, we are preparing to initiate legal action.

I do not recommend contacting or engaging with this company.

Simply con artists

Promised the earth and delivered nothing of note, their internal system never matched up to our internal tracking which suggests it's not much cop as we verified ours all the way along with two datasets. Also they 'lost' money out of our budget which we had to repeatedly remind them about until it was returned, knocked from pillar to post also in terms of who we were dealing with throughout the three months of engagement and every time the person changed the next person didn't know anything that we had agreed with the previous person. Wouldn't recommend, still waiting on their cancellations department responding to my notice to quit, some nebulous 30 day cancellation window to watch out for.

UPDATE:

They have now owed us money for more than a month but only because we noticed that they not spent our budget yet again. If you are working with these guys make sure you have your own tracking in place, I can only conclude that their system doesn't work and that they will simply hold on to your money.

So when we contacted them to ask for a refund we got this:

Hi Marty

We are sorry to hear that you have decided to cancel our service and had delayed our response to explore whether an amicable agreement could be achieved as a gesture of goodwill, to avoid enforcing our terms and conditions which require the completion of a least one more cycle following notice of cancellation.

We have been advised that you have requested a refund. However, compliance with our terms and conditions does not give rise to such a situation.

Please advise us how you would like to pay your invoice for the final cycle. Once we have received payment, the current cycle will continue to spend and the contract will be complete once the budget for the final cycle has been spent.

Please see the link to our terms and conditions:

(link to their Terms and Conditions)

Please be assured we will continue to provide the high level of customer service throughout.

Kind Regard

Not even a name on it, so they are now refusing us a refund (having messed up continually). We'll be reporting them to trading standards and passing to credit collection. When will companies like this learn that providing such a poor service online simply leads to appalling reviews?

FURTHER UPDATE

They have also included a £450 management fee on the invoice! Hard to fathom.
