From the moment I reached out Gemma and the team were super attentive answering all my questions (which as a first time stove buyer we’re plentiful!) and guiding me through the process. The installation was seamless, the team was was efficient and the stove is working wonderfully.

From booking the appointment to the service itself, everything was excellent.

The fitter arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and took time to explain things.

They sent two really experienced and knowledgeable people to service my gas fire. They did an excellent job in identifying the problem and sorted it there and then.

We had our fireplace structurally altered and rebuilt to accommodate a Portway Arundel stove as part of a major building refurbishment at our home. The installers came three times - once to survey the job and twice to install. Despite quite a few unforeseeable problems on the second visit, the installation team was always courteous and happy to answer any of my questions and give advice about how to use the stove. The work was completed to a high specification with explanations along the way. They re-used materials from the previous fireplace where they could and tidied up well after each visit. The office staff were friendly and accommodating and provided a very good service when the installation plans changed.

I chose the Fireplace fitters - spoke to Gemma who was polite and very helpful.
The chimney sweepers were very tidy and clean, they covered the area they were working in which was great. I was being inquisitive the engineer explained as he went along. So thank you.
I have asked Fireplace Fitters to include me on their future reminder list for an annual clean.

We booked for Fireplace Fitters to service and sweep our burner after moving into a new house; they were very helpful and we felt reassured that our burner was safe and ready to use. They gave us some advice about our other fireplace and even sent over quotes with varying options if we wanted another burner installed. Booking and paying for the service was simple and easy.

We will be using them again to sweep annually and would definitely recommend!

I found Fireplace Fitters a delight to deal with. From my initial call to book in to have my chimneys swept when Gemma, booked the appointment then emailed me confirmation. To Stefan, who swept the chimneys who was prompt, polite and extremely tidy and did an excellent job.I will definitely be using them again

I’m not a customer of the fireplace fitters company however I called in the hope that I could locate a broken part. A lady called Amy answered who had absolutely no reason to want to help but I was greeted with the best customer service I’ve had in recent years. I will have the replacement part on Monday. Kudos to Amy and her team.

We had a new limestone fire surround and stove fitted. We chose the Fireplace Fitters on recommendation and are so pleased we did. The admin team and fitters were first class.

Having worked in a service industry for over 50 years I can really appreciate such good service and would have no hesitation in recommending The Fireplace Fitters.

I had a service done on my gas fire, as it is a requirement. I had had a service done a few years ago and i could not fault it. this time round the guys that came round were literally in and out with in 10 mins. the pilot light had not been cleaned and none of the logs were removed to clear away any debris within the gas fire, nor was the flu checked for any blockages. I called Amy at fire place fitters and said that as I felt that a full service had not been done I would expect either they come back and complete the service or consider the bill total which was close to £200.

I felt that Amy's tone of voice was extremely rude, and felt that she was not willing to resolve the situation other then ask for full and final payment.

Also her emails were very rude, to the point of bringing into question my memory and knowledge.

From the initial contact, enquiring about prices to the final fitting of the gas stove everything was really smooth and easy. It was a very competitive price and the timescales were excellent. The expertise of the fitters was exceptional and their service was first class. Everything was fully explained and the work was completed with expertise, everything left clean and tidy. The fire is lovely!

Company was recommended by a friend who had a structural problem with a fireplace sorted by them. We had a mysteriously disconnected log-effect gasfire in our new home. After a survey of the fire and chimney, we received a detailed estimate of possible works needed. Gemma helpfully talked through these so we were fully clear before we booked in the work. Kai and Paul completed the work efficiently and tidied up carefully. We are delighted to now have a perfectly functioning fire. Admin work by the office team of Gemma and Amy has been first rate. We will definitely be using this company to service the fire in the future.

My first contact was with Gemma who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Jordan and Kai arrived well equipped with dust sheets and were very tidy and professional when they dismantled my existing fireplace which needed to have the base reconstructed as it had disintegrated. The work was completed successfully and the old fire was reinstalled. I then decided to have a new Gazco Logic HE Balanced Flue fire and after some delay, during which time Gemma kept me regularly updated, which I very much appreciated, Kai installed my lovely new fire. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again and would definitely recommend.
