Searched for a new fan/stove with flicker effect for an elderly aunt who could not manage the complex remote control supplied with a new fire installed last year. We set three criteria:
- very simple on off controls - fan at the base of stove blowing air at floor level (keep feet warm) and very safe to use.
Many available at places such as B&Q but expensive and controls did not meet criteria exactly. Internet search produced this company with exactly what we needed at much reduced price. Easy purchase prompt delivery, When the fire arrived there was very minor damage, easily repaired. Installed the stove/fan for a delighted aunt. The key is the simple easily accessible rotary control - click on, click again for heat - click anticlockwise to turn it off. So - a very happy, warm 99 year old aunt.

We bought a fire a(CERALIS GAS FIRE ) from flare in hillsbourgh, leppings lane, sheffield 6, at the end of November beginning of December 2023 we have had the coals crumble leaving ash all over the fire place and the back of the fire burn white , the contractor keeps coming out and cleaning it replace coal and spray the back of the fire black. 4 times the have been out to see to the fire, now they have flare have contacted the company who makes the gas fires to see to it . God knows what will happen but will let every one know . It is not the gas fitters fault they are only contracted to fit the fire for the shop even they are fed up . There are few things for your home that you require as rarely as a new fire or fireplace. You seem to spend half your life staring at the little box in the corner but your fire generally is a focal point as we found out during the refurbishment of our lounge. You don't know this until it's been removed and you're waiting for your new purchase with a large hole in the wall! Looking back we set out to explore what we needed at the Fireplace outlet. Its not on a high street tucked away as it is off a main road in a quiet backwater next to the Abbeydale Brewery. The showroom opens out into quite a large showroom with fires and surrounds of all types and materials. Our pre-conceived ideas of what we wanted soon went out of the window as we chose something that suited us perfectly. Staff are not pushy and a survey booked with the price refundable on ordering. Shortly fitters arrived to strip out the existing fire, returning shortly after to fit the new fire, hearth and back plate. It was not straightforward but it was carried out with care and pecision. I can't blame them for my wonkey walls! Anyway, all in all a first rate service and we now have a new fire etc. that we can enjoy, hopefully for many years to come. Jan and Steve Bradley.

First and foremost, terrific price. But possibly more importantly, when we discovered that the heater would not physically fit into the opening we proposed to site it (Unit was to wide), we emailed Fireplace Factory Outlet ltd to cancel the order. They responded almost immediately, cancelled the order and refunded our account. Whats not to like.

Great service and a good delivery service arrived on time and the item is as described and works well as the item replaced a original item which came with the fireplace which I bought second hand a few years ago
