No show on wedding day!
We were super excited to charter a bus for our wedding at an old converted 1800s schoolhouse venue, especially as it would ensure our guests could safely travel to/from our rural venue.
I am so disappointed! If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars I would. We chartered a bus for our wedding, and had to pay in advance for services. However, on the day, 30 min before they were scheduled to pick up guests to bring them TO my wedding venue, the driver called the groom to inform him that the bus broke down. No offer of back up service, to pick up late, NOTHING! My guests not only had to find a way to the venue unexpectedly, making my ceremony late, my guests were also stranded at my rural venue with no way home as ride share does not frequent the area.
Now I assume being a school bus company, on a non school day, there are hundreds of other buses just sitting on the lot, why on earth we wouldn’t have immediately been sent a back up bus, or other solution. Not only that I was offered no contact no solution and you still most certainly have my $1000 for services and now I had to fork out additional money to identify alternative options for my guests, delay of my event, and paying for alternative transport for my guests.
There should be a contingency plan for such events when chartering for one in a lifetime events like weddings.
And it is hilarious that I was sent the review request before anyone has bothered to call me back… going on 28hrs since they didn’t show, no help; no apologies, solutions, nothing!!!!
