Good bus, nice company, but not without an issue
The bus itself was spacious and clean (we had a smaller 22 passenger I believe). When I needed to call to discuss my reservation, everyone was nice and helpful.
The week of our wedding we had to change our pickup time to an hour earlier (this was somehow missed in the lead up to the wedding). I spoke with someone regarding the additional hour as well as our specific pick-up locations for our guests.
I was charged a change fee since we were withing 5 days ($50) and then the fee for the additional hour.
However, the day of the wedding, the shuttle did not arrive for the earlier pick up time which was for us (bride/groom and wedding party). We needed to be to venue early for pictures. This was a huge stressor on our day and timeline. We had to scramble to find cars that we could fit in, while all dressed and ready to go.
Once the shuttle arrived there was a missed pick-up or two for our guests to bring them to the wedding. All return shuttle trips went as planned.
I did speak with 1st Charter after the event and I was refunded the change fee and the missed hour, but I was still disappointed we had the unnecessary stress to start our wedding day.
I would use them again if in the same situation, but I would make sure I had phone #s and more details to know who to contact in the event of an issue. On a Saturday we were unable to speak to a person initially to solve our problem.
