Extremely Disappointing Experience – First Choice Motors

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Sami, who goes by the name Ozzy, and the team at First Choice Motors.

From the very first day of owning the car, I experienced problems. I returned the vehicle to them for repairs, but the issues were not resolved, and they used up my fuel in the process. Unfortunately, I was inexperienced when purchasing the car and did not realise at the time that I had not been provided with a roadworthy certificate.

Things got even worse when the car broke down on the Bruce Highway, leaving me to organise a tow back to Brisbane. I was told that all the necessary repairs had been carried out, and the response I received left me feeling as though I was being blamed for the problems.

Concerned about the car's condition, I took it to an independent mechanic for a second opinion. I was shocked by what I was told: the vehicle was in such poor condition that, in their opinion, it would not have passed a roadworthy inspection.

I attempted to pursue the matter through legal channels, but unfortunately, I found my options very limited. The entire experience has cost me far more than just money. I lost my car, suffered significant financial stress, and ultimately had to leave my job because I could no longer reliably get to work.

I have also noticed that negative reviews and profiles relating to this business appear to have been removed from platforms such as Google and ProductReview. This added to my concerns as a customer.

This has been an incredibly stressful and costly experience, and I genuinely wish I had known what I know now before purchasing the vehicle.

Please do your research, get an independent mechanical inspection, and ensure all necessary documentation is provided before purchasing a car from First Choice Motors. I am sharing my experience in the hope that others take the time to do their due diligence and avoid going through the same situation.
