I gave them a 1 because they got my hopes up. They sent me the wrong color cover and then blamed it on me. There was correspondence before I actually made the purchase. I asked about a specific color and sent color images to confirm. They said that they could make the cover in that color. They then reached out to me from a different phone number and asked that I send photos so that they could confirm color, fit, etc. I contacted them after the wrong color arrived and they said no problem but could I install the incorrect color so that they could verify the fit. Turned out that it was the wrong color and wrong cut! Later someone reached out to me to say that they would not be correcting the problem or refunding the money. They said that I selected the color code that corresponded with the wrong color. Again, I told them that I sent color images in the beginning and they sent me an invoice to pay. The fail safe was supposed to be the images of my car seat that I sent before production. I had to prove to them that I sent them by sending images of the original texts. I tried and tried but they have refused to correct the problem. I would not use them for car seat covers!!

I strongly regret ever doing business…

I strongly regret ever doing business with First Class Seat Covers. This company presents itself online like a large, professional operation with premium products and polished branding, but the reality appears to be nothing more than a one-man show pretending to be a major enterprise. Once problems started, it became very clear there was no real customer service department, no professional support structure, and no accountability—just one person hiding behind a business name and acting like a full corporation.

The seat covers themselves were massively overpriced for what was delivered. They were marketed as premium, custom-fit covers, but the actual fitment and installation process were a nightmare. Installing them required far more seat disassembly than any normal customer would expect, and key details about how invasive and difficult the process would be were not properly disclosed upfront. For the price charged, customers should receive a product that fits correctly without turning installation into a mechanical project.

The worst part was dealing with support. Instead of helping resolve concerns professionally, responses were defensive, combative, and focused on blaming the customer. Every legitimate issue was dismissed as user error, as if the product could never be at fault. That kind of attitude might work for a fly-by-night operation, but not for a company trying to market itself as premium and trustworthy.

The refund/dispute process was exactly what you would expect from a business with no real infrastructure—arguments, excuses, policy dodging, and zero willingness to make things right. Once they have your money, professionalism disappears.

Bottom line: this appears to be a one-person operation masquerading as a serious company, selling overpriced seat covers with misleading marketing and backing them with terrible customer service. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and risk. There are many legitimate companies out there—this is not one of them.

Website Promises “Perfect Fit” & “100% Money Back Guarantee” — Reality Delivers Partial Covers, Cut-It-Yourself Installation, and a No-Win Refund and Warranty Trap!

Be very careful before ordering from First Class Covers.

The website gives the impression that you are buying a fully custom, vehicle-specific set of seat covers with a “Perfect Fit Guarantee” and “100% Money Back Guarantee.” The normal order page asks for your exact vehicle, VIN, and seat configuration, which makes it seem like the covers will be fully made for your exact seats.

What the website does not clearly explain during the normal order process is that the only seat cover option actually sold through the website is their limited “Standard Custom Fitment” product, not the alternate “Full Custom Fitment” option, and that this important distinction only becomes clear later through buried policies and the installation video, as it is not meaningfully mentioned or offered as an upgrade option during the ordering process.

That matters because their buried policy language says standard fitment is “intended fit, not refundable,” that some of your original seat may still show, and that the back seat covers do not fully wrap around and only cover the front face. Those are major limitations that most buyers would want to know before ordering, not after delivery.

The website also does not clearly explain that you may have to personally alter the covers yourself, including manually locating hole positions, cutting the material, using tools to force the covers into place, or even removing or loosening seats in your vehicle, even though the site promises installation in less than 30 minutes. In my case, the covers arrived without required headrest openings. Their installation instructions then required me to manually locate the spot, poke holes, cut a small “X,” and tuck the material underneath. Their instructions also showed using a flathead screwdriver or putty knife to force the cover into place and said excess straps could be cut. That means the buyer, not the company, is expected to finish and alter the product after delivery.

Another serious problem is the refund policy. Their policy says return items must be “In original condition and packaging” and “Unused, with all tags attached.” But at the same time, they also say the covers must be fully installed properly before they will review a refund, and that refund requests can be denied if a full installation was not attempted. In other words, if you do not install and alter the covers, they can deny the refund. But if you do install, cut, tuck, and trim the covers, you risk no longer having a product that is still “unused” and in original condition. That creates a no-win situation for the customer.

There is also a warranty issue buyers should know about. The site promotes a warranty, but the policy says that if you use one of their larger discounts, that discount replaces the warranty on the order. Since discounts appear built into the normal website sale path, the advertised warranty may be far more limited than most buyers would assume.

I ultimately had to file a dispute with Affirm twice, and in the end it was resolved in my favor, but I am leaving this review so other buyers understand the risk. The biggest risk is not just the product itself, which I do not consider high quality, remotely custom, or worth nearly $500. I am also not convinced the covers are actually Nappa leather as advertised. The bigger problem is that the website makes the product seem far more premium, straightforward, and protected by real guarantees than it actually is once you read the hidden policies and instructions and actually communicate with the support team. Their responses to me included: “All of your concerns are as advertised,” “not following the installation guidelines, including required cutouts, does not qualify for a refund or replacement,” and “we cannot provide a resolution for issues arising from non-compliance with our guidelines... This will be our final position on the matter.”

I cannot in good conscience recommend this company after the experience I had. Their policies are written in a way that appears to let them deny almost any claim. I ordered the covers on December 16, 2025. They did not arrive until February 10, 2026, well past the delivery timeframe the website led me to expect, and the matter was not finally resolved until April 2, 2026. I hope this review spares someone else the same hassle, delay, and possible loss of money.

If I could give negative stars, I would.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Seat covers were made in China and contrary to company guarantee, THEY DID NOT FIT. I followed return instructions that were impossible to satisfy the company. To evaluate any complaint, they require pictures of the seat covers “property installed.” One cannot properly install seat covers that do not fit. DUH.. if I could properly install them, I wouldn’t be contacting the co. in the first place. I paid a third party to install after I could not. Still did not fit. Email (10) after email Their perfect fit guarantee is a hoax. Finally I gave up. I am too old to waste anymore of my life in a constant fight over $650.
