DO NOT take this card overseas!!! Ours failed day 1!! After a week they were still “working” on the problem. If I didn’t have another card, we would have been totally screwed!

Lies

We have conducted business with First Interstate Bank for close to 30 years now. Yet, after six phone calls and an equal number of promises to remove the paper charge on my daughter's account (who is only 17 and should not have a paper charge), they still haven't removed it and are charging her monthly. We have deposited significant amounts of money with this bank, yet we are on the verge of closing our accounts and moving elsewhere. We are sick and tired of wasting time and dealing with ongoing lies!

App sucks. Check doesn't get credited until that morning around 6am. I'd switch if I weren't so lazy

I have to find my phone in order to log…

I have to find my phone in order to log into my persoanl account. Every time. It is a waste of my time. What is wrong with you people. Can't you make it easy like other banks. Why do you do this and don't tell me it's security. It is BS. Fix or I am gone!

These people are thieves then they try…

These people are thieves then they try to Thug you if you question what they do that's if you get an answer from anybody it no longer have resolution at the local branches everything has to go through corporate if you get to somebody you'll meet somebody on the other end that will call you a liar and crazy and every other thing and you won't get any resolution for anything especially false charges. I had them as a bank for 3 years as gwb. They were great but no more. When Interstate first required Great Western Bank they were using our money like it was their own you could have $10,000 on deposit go to use your cash card and they have $0 because it vanished. They owe me over a hundred bucks I quit that's still a felony in Wyoming and Montana which is where their corporate offices are. If you were a vulnerable or not they would soon find out by trying to run scams on you.

Use of debit cards are impacted by credit cards

This bank utilizes a service for issuing their debit cards. If you fall behind on a credit card payment, you run the risk of having your debit card deactivated keeping you from accessing cash. Other banks that don't use a debit card service and issue directly will not be impacted by credit cards. This bank is no longer open on Saturdays either.
