I like the app, except you can't leave review comments/tasting notes from the app. Thumbs up/down is nice, but I have to go to the website to add my personal comments.

We love getting new wines to try. Very happy we decided on this company. It’s our first time with a wine club. I did lots of research. The only thing I don’t like is the discount for wine rating. I don’t like rating wine (remembering to go online, knocking vineyards, I end up recommending all of them anyway, etc) but I feel I’m not getting the biggest bang for my buck if I don’t. I wish you’d just drop the price for everyone.

We really liked several of the wines in our first shipment. We need to cancel our membership because our gastroenterologist has asked us not to drink any more because of the stomach problems that we both have because it can cause cancer.

I changed the shipping frequency to 12 weeks on the same day I signed up for membership. They sent the next order at 5 weeks. When I tried to stop the order, I was told that the 12 weeks frequency does not start until the third shipment. I said this was not explained in the confirmation email I had received when I changed the frequency (I still had the email.) and that they sent this shipment a week earlier than their 6 week cycle as well. They told me to refuse the shipment, and they'd refund my money minus $25 restocking fee. I cancelled my membership. I have only drunk three of the original bottles and don't like them. I've never cared much for wine, though. I was hoping that the survey I took when I signed up would pair me with wines I would like, but it didn't. That's probably more my taste buds than their methodology.

This Service is a scam. They Charge your it subscribe you to a stupid Membership without your knowledge and sneakingly send you an email about it around 1am and they offer absolutely no refunds. I joined Firstleaf in December, initially enjoying their wines. However, I encountered a concerning issue when I received a notification that a club order had been shipped without my confirmation. Despite my immediate attempt to clarify and prevent the shipment, the wine was delivered. Upon refusal, I sought a full refund, but Firstleaf only refunded the wine cost and imposed a restocking fee for an order I never placed.
This experience raises concerns about Firstleaf's customer service and business practices. The situation was mishandled, leaving me disappointed and questioning their strategies. I hoped for an acknowledgment, an apology, and a full refund, but regrettably, none were provided. I share this review to alert others to exercise caution based on my disappointing experience.

I love the variety of wines that I receive and that I receive them at a club discount. As I rate the wines that I receive, the next delivery is selected based on my tastes. The company will refund you for a bottle that you don't like but because everyone likes different things, I pass it onto a friend or neighbor that I know will enjoy it.
