always new and good and interesting books

really easy to use. I've been buying regularly from them for over 10 years. Never had an issue. Very reliable.

Waiting 2 months for delivery. Latest update is possible delivery weeks from now.

I ordered a book in February and Fishpond stated it will be sent in mid March- I thought this was quite a slow response time but I waited anyway. We are now in April and the book has still not been sent- it now states that it will ship on the 5th of April and has been reordered. This is the 1st time I have used Fishpond in years and am really regretting it. There is nowhere on their website to complain about their poor service. In the future I will order from The Nile as I have always found them to be reliably and timely.

Here in the Midwest USA, books are abundant both online and in retail stores. Fishpond had this one book I would’ve had to have special ordered anyway. So I bought it. Watched the shipping updates. Got it at my doorstep. And that is exactly right.

When I discovered Fishpond had a Pantry section
I scrawled thru 78 pages of grocery items and was surprised at the extensive range and the exceptionally good prices often dollars cheaper than supermarket prices .

I recently ordered a cake which arrived in perfect condition due to the exceptionally expert packaging .

I have been trying to track my delivery for days, the AI system is dysfunctional....it will not let me track...I don't know if the goods have even left and it will not allow me to get in and cancel

My first experience with Fishpond. After not hearing anything for 6 days after payment & no update on tracking, I emailed, finally got a reply to say they hadn't been able to source my order & they blamed their supplier. They never communicated with me so I cancelled my order. I see that the item is still being falsely advertised as available . I wish I'd read reviews first as this is a regular occurrence with this company. Never again.

Fishpond is the number one place I buy my hard to find books from, which usually are only available from overseas. They source my books from the US and the UK and get them delivered to me right here in Australia at the best shipping price. They offer really great prices and my items always arrive safely. I have been buying from them for years and the service has always been outstanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my overseas books.

It takes along time for delivery. And items that are highly perishable come covered in mold. Eg bread items

Ordered a book online. It stated the book would arrive within the next few weeks. Three weeks on I look at tracking information and it says it can’t confirm my delivery date until one month after the date I placed the order. Why sell books if you don’t have them in stock?

Unfortunately terrible experiences. While they have competitive prices, the service is horrible, they usually take twice the amount of time to deliver the items, I had an order with five items which only one was delivered. I kept giving Fishpond another chance as it is a Kiwi company but I’m afraid I’m not placing any other order with them.

I ordered a CD waited 5 weeks for it to arrive and received a book instead. (not related in anyway to the CD I ordered.)
There was no order form inside the package and no information on returning the unwanted, unsolicited book.
I tried to contact Fishpond but had no luck at all.
I assume they do not want contact.
I frequently use Amazon, Nile etc and have never had an experience like this.
I would not recommend this company. I don't expect to hear from them and am thankful that I did not spend very much.

Ordered food items one afternoon, package arrived early the next day. This was 2 day's before Xmas. Competitive prices on pantry items. Very happy.

I ordered a book on the 7th of November thinking this is plenty of time before christmas and estimated arrival was inly a few weeks…. It arrived on the 1st of January. So i couldn't give a physical xmas gift. I then ordered another book stupidly on the 20th of December and i leave the country at the end of January and what do you know it hadnt even been shipped by the end of jan so i asked for a refund. Its ridiculous how long these things take to arrive but worse when they lead you on with estimated arrivals

If l’m looking for a book or a calendar Fishpond is my place to go.
Very happy with the service provided and the selection, also the prices appear to be reasonable.
We get great pleasure from the 365 pages a day dog calendar which l have been ordering for several years now.
I also purchase one for my sister every year as well. Thank you Fishpond because l can’t get this calendar anywhere else, it’s a daily dose of happiness for us.

Fishpond asked me if I wanted to sell a book I had bought from them. I thought why not. I had read the book so I agreed.

They come back to me saying they had a buyer and provided me with the buyers address and fairly comprehensive instructions on what I needed to do to complete the sale. I followed these instructions to the letter. Sent the book off after paying g $9.40 up front.

NZ Post come back to me saying g there is no such address. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO FISHPOND ON THE PHONE!

They come back to me and say they dont know what I’m talking about and how can they help me today. I send them their own email outlining what I should do because they had sold the book on my behalf.

Then they tell have the audacity to tell me I need to follow up with their buyer. I tell them I emailed her when I sent the book - no reply - and when NZ Post contacted me to say there was no such address so I emailed her again - no reply.

Now I am being told by Fiahpond that I am not being fair blaming it on them that I have the book if it is returned and basically tough luck about the nearly $10 I am out of pocket “it is part of doing business”.

This company is an utter disgrace.
Their customer service is the worst I have encountered in NZ.

I have bought 3/4 puzzles from your company recently and am extremely satisfied with them. The designs are very contemporary, the colours are beautiful and the quality is excellent. I use puzzles to keep my mind sharp and enjoy myself at the same time. I will certainly purchase more from you in future.

I bought a book from a store and it was the first book in a series, when I went back to the store I was told it was not possible for them to order any more in the series because there from the UK. Fishpond was the only company that I was able to get the whole series from. It took a bit longer than normal but they kept me up to date the entire time. Thankyou Fishpond.
