Customer Service (NOT)
If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
I took delivery of my Kona EV on March 31st last year. All was fine for 3 months, then the Sat Nav died. It took the dealership 4 months to discover that the internal antenna needed to be replaced! The vehicle was back and forward to the dealership during this period. On the day I got the car back, I discovered that I was no longer connected to the Hyundai app. After another 4 months of back and forth to the dealership, they eventually said that the ICCU needed to be replaced.
During the 8 months of these problems, I sent 5 emails and 1 registered letter to the Sales Manager, expressing my disappointment at the vehicle and pointing out my consumer rights. I consistently asked for my vehicle to be replaced. Unfortunately, the Sales Manager did not have the decency to answer ANY of my mails/letters.
I have no hesitation in telling everyone that the Dealership is Fitzpatrick's Hyundai Naas, and the Sales Manager is Liam Mcgeeney. Customer service and aftercare obviously means nothing to Fitzpatrick's. They are great and make you feel important until the deal is done. Then, they don't care about you. I would never recommend anyone buying a vehicle from this dealership. Worst I have ever come across!

Fitzpatricks of Kildare
Making the booking with Fitzpatrick of Kildare, we were very specific on what had failed in the NCT and what needed repairing. They completely wasted our time getting us to bring in the car for a repair they couldn’t make as they didn’t have the part, really poor management! We were incredibly disappointed with how this was handled and the poor customer service received from the receptionist. We won’t be back!
Avoid if you can
I booked a 30,000 km service at Fitzpatrick’s Hyundai Naas, which includes brake fluid replacement, oil and filter change, and a full health check. I clearly informed them that I needed the car back by 5 pm, as we travelled from Portlaoise and I had to pick up my children.
When we arrived at 2 pm, they confirmed everything. When I came back at 4:40 pm, my car was still untouched in the exact same spot. Only after I confronted them did they suddenly “find a window” and claimed they could complete the full service in 30–40 minutes. The staff member was extremely rude, sarcastic and dismissive, even telling us our lost work time was “not his problem.”
A mechanic (who later turned out to be an apprentice) laughed and insisted all the work was done — brake fluid, filters, checks — which is physically impossible in that timeframe. Then another staff member contradicted him and said he “has no idea what he’s talking about.”
We were charged for a full service that was clearly not performed. No brake fluid was changed. I highly doubt filters or oil were replaced either.
Instead of admitting they forgot about our car, they lied to our faces and treated us like idiots.
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from an official Hyundai dealer.

I can’t say enough about the excellent service I received from Colm Mooney in the Naas garage .He was so patient and helpful .I recommend Fitzpatricks for anyone who wants wonderful service .

The sales person (won't name him) showed no interest in our enquiry. We contacted him by email to make a further enquiry. He was most unhelpful.

I brought my Hyundai Tucson (191) to…
I brought my Hyundai Tucson (191) to Fitzpatrick Garage in Naas on Thursday, 25th September to have the temperature sensor replaced. When I collected the car, I immediately noticed that the media display unit had developed air bubbles on the inside around the screen, which was not there before I handed it in.
I returned straight away to report it. The mechanic couldn’t explain how it happened and said the service manager would call me the next day. After several calls, I eventually spoke to him, but he refused to accept responsibility for the damage.
I’m very disappointed with how this was handled. While the car was in their care, the garage had a duty to return it in the same condition it was received, which clearly did not happen. I expected a more professional and fair response to what is an obvious issue that occurred under their supervision.
Car service
I had my car serviced with Fitzpatrick garage last week. Very happy over all. The staff were lovely and very pleasant to deal with.
Misled by Online Quote, No Support When Overcharged
I booked a 40,000km service via Hyundai Ireland’s official website, which quoted €147.53. When I arrived at Fitzpatricks Garage Hyundai Naas, I was charged €314.43 — more than double the online price. I was never told the cost would be higher or asked to approve any extra work.
When I contacted Hyundai Naas, they admitted they don’t follow the website pricing. Even more shocking, they are aware of this issue and has done nothing to correct it. When I raised the complaint, they refused to get involved or take responsibility.
This isn’t just bad customer service — it’s deceptive. I’ve reported the issue to the CCPC and would advise others to avoid booking through Hyundai Ireland’s site or trusting the price you’re given.
Great customer service.
We bought our new Kona EV from Martin Kernan, he couldn’t have been more helpful, he took great care of us throughout and we ended up making a deal that we were happy with. When we collected the car, he gave us great time and consideration, making sure we understood everything before driving off the forecourt. The whole process was a very enjoyable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming.
Be wary of having a car serviced at…
Be wary of having a car serviced at Fitzpatricks Naas. For the SECOND time in 5 years my car failed it's NCT a mere four weeks after servicing. Their service seems rudimentary, not diagnostic, and in a pre-NCT it needs to be diagnostic. And if you return they'll charge. Avoid, avoid . . .the service manager is impervious as he's obvs used to complaints and not really taking things on board. Fitzpatricks are neither receptive to someone with a genuine problem, nor customer caring. An indifferent lot. Basically? Not up to the job. Waffle.
Poor service provided
Booked a service and asked if they could check what the warning light on my dash was for. When I picked up the car after the service, they told me it wasn't possible to check what the warning light was as the mechanics were all busy. I left the car with them for 8 hours (surely enough time for a mechanic to look at it) and despite agreeing to look at the matter, they told me I would need to book it in again for 5 weeks time and pay for another check. I already paid well over €200 for the service which was quite expensive. The staff were very unhelpful and border line rude. Would not recommend, go elsewhere.

2022 Hyundai Tuscon 1.6D- brought back in 13 times in 12 months- Nightmare
Worst service ever!
A 2022, originally sold by Fitzpatricks Garages- and serviced at Fitzpatricks, have had to bring the Car in 13 times in 12 months and the latest - the engine has to be replaced and they have not provided us with a courtesy Car once.
We have bought a number of Cars from them down through the years but this Hyundai is the worst Car i have ever owned- an absolute nightmare of a Car. The aftersales service is diabolical.

Bought a car from this Garage whatever…
Bought a car from this Fitzpatricks Garage Carlow or whatever you would like to call. I can think of a few other names for it, it 7weeks ago, amongst all the other issues iv had with the faulty car i have been sold,i noticed this morning that the two front wheel archs are popping off again, they said they had fixed them when they kept my car for the day,but i knew it was a botch job that the clips were broken, should have been replaced. So back again now dealing with the up most disrespectful staff, and as was said to me these things are my fault i should have seen these things when i looked at the car before purchase, bit i just presumed when he was saying that it was in pristine condition and that id be looked after at Fitzpatricks,a false Lull they call that, bring a magnifying glass with you buying from this shower, because there aint no help after they have your money just smart back hand replys
Avoid avoid avoid one hour diagnostic…
Avoid avoid avoid one hour diagnostic was 135 euro for them to say they won’t touch the car they’re rude and will charge you an arm and a limb for anything do not go in ! Do not go near them would go minus stars if I could
Possibly considering getting ccpc involved due to the outrageous carry on
Probably the worst experience I’ve had…
Probably the worst experience I’ve had dealing with a dealership. Bought a one year old Mercedes with low mileage. Issue after issue after less than a year - they charged me over 3k replacing parts. Not in any way apologetic and very rude - I won’t be back and suggest you avoid - the attitude of everyone in here is appalling.
