Fiveable  Reviews

Fiveable has outstanding customer service. Questions were responded to promptly and any issues were immediately addressed. My son used Fiveable to prep for his AP exams in history and government and found the structure of the program and the format to meet his needs. In some cases, he received more productive instruction from the program than from one of his teachers. The cost of membership is minimal compared to the benefits of not having to pay for a college course that a student tests out of with a high enough AP score. I have recommended fiveable to other parents. Thank you for such a great program for students!

Helped me with my AP exams; and when i forgot to cancel after school year ended it offered me the option to refund the last charge.

The HQ Team was so easy to communicate with when I needed help cancelling my subscription. The website itself is very useful and prepared me for the test.

My son found the test reviews and quizzes so helpful for the AP exams. When I forgot to cancel my subscription after his test they fully refunded. I love that they give you days after your payment to cancel with a full refund.

very helpful team and gave me a refund when requested promptly.

I'm gonna be honest with you guys. The free study options on Fiveable were amazing towards my cramming for the AP Human Geography exam. I had been cramming in May 2025 for the upcoming exam, and even though I only studied for about 3 days, I ended up getting a 4 on the exam. The service served me well.

Picture this: It's 3 days before the AP US History exam and I haven't even covered 3 units. I was panicking, looking for a way to salvage my score. I was hoping for a 3 at best, but I was not very confident. Then some folks told me about fiveable, and I desperately bought the subscription. I crammed 2 units and used the cheatsheet, and well enough, I got a 5 on my exam! The study guides tell you what you need to know, the cheatsheet is great for looking at the overarching ideas of each unit, and the practice questions are great to help adapt to the exam. I genuinely could not get my 5 on the exam without fiveable. Going into next year with 6 APs and fiveable have already been such a pleasure! The study guides save me HOURS compared to reading my textbook, and they carry me to the finish line with guided practice. Thank you fiveable.

There is good communication with the owner of the company for problems.

love the practice questions but a lot of stuff is paywalled

When I was in my first AP class, I was so overwhelmed with all the new information thrown at me. Then one day, I came across fiveable. The study guides and practice questions helped me get a 4 on my AP Human Geography exam (Along with Mr. Sinn’s youtube videos). This is something I would highly recommend using. Even for non-AP classes.

Amazing easy to understand notes, I would honestly not have survived without fiveable

The content for AP English Language and Composition is well-organized, thorough, and student-friendly.

Fiveable helps students organize their thoughts and content. It takes stuff they already know and helps them get it in order by providing resources that encourage students to go back over their own content and to practice what they know

I really appreciate how in-depth Fiveable goes when it comes to their topics. it's not just a couple, it's ALL topics! I always credit Fiveable with helping me pass my AP psychology and AP world history exams with a 4! The Fiveable staff make their website easy to use and are very engaged with their audiences through updates. The only critique I can give is that the free version of Fiveable is very limited, which can be disappointing. Other than that, I highly recommend Five able!

The content is very much helpful in preparing for AP Exams

The key terms are very useful when searching for definitions.

The material is chunked in perfectly digestible sections

NOTHING could have prepared me for AP exams the way Fiveable did. It was my first time self-studying, and I started off feeling completely unprepared. But in just five days, Fiveable helped me review all the content I needed and gave me so much confidence that I scored higher than I ever imagined. The peer tutors, fun slides, and catchy music created such a positive, community vibe that eased my test anxiety and kept me motivated. The study guides on the website were packed with clear, concise information and helpful practice questions that made studying efficient and effective. The support team was also incredibly kind and understanding. My experience with Fiveable was truly the best, and I’ll always recommend it to any student!

loved the study guides very informative and content was definitely all there
maybe would recommend some condensed versions of the study guides that include more info than just the cram sheets :)
