No curtsy car.

Job was done well,but took longer than expected

Vehicle went in to Fix Auto Atherstone as requested 9am on 7th August, but did not move until the 17th August. No contact from Fix Auto regarding delays, originally told collection by 16th August, then eventually told “early following week”.
After chasing Fix Auto Atherstone for hours on the 20th I was told my car would be painted on 21st and ready by the end of the week.

Collected my car and immediately called Fix Auto as the repair was substandard. Scratches still visible in paint and dirt in paint. Was told to bring car in on the 27th. When I arrived, I was told that they would attempt to rectify this through polishing the vehicle. The “polishing” has left swirl marks and holograms in the fresh paintwork, but unfortunately polishing does not fix the low spots in the paint, as well as the poor filler work and pinholes. It is evident that whilst Fix Auto had the car for well beyond the ETA given, the job was rushed and the workmanship and customer service is poor.

This now means that my vehicle will be going to another panel shop to have the work done correctly. Simply not worth your time or vehicle to trust this outfit.

Edit: since this review, the vehicle was inspected by independent engineers at Fix Auto’s request, the engineers confirmed that the workmanship is so poor that the entire side of the vehicle will need to be repaired and repainted - making the job 4x more expensive than the first repair.

Helen and the team at Fix Auto Atherstone have shown complete incompetence on this repair, poor customer service and a total lack of pride in their work.

I was also told that the paperwork would be “signed for me”, Fix Auto Atherstone have denied that this occurred despite their own head office stating that the customer should sign the vehicle out when satisfied with the repairs, I have asked for copies of this paperwork and CCTV, Helen now refuses to respond, another show of top notch customer service…

My thoughts as follows my jaguar was hit parked on the street some weeks ago by an unknown? New door needed and work to the wing never thought it was going to be the same again anyway car was collected they had it for just over a week came back like new . absolute first class workmanship nothing more to say?

Only just got around to reviewing this...
My van was bashed by another driver and it was undrivable. These guys came and picked it up, then returned it to me as good as new. I can't tell it has been in an accident.
The office team were able to give me regular updates of progress (unlike my insurance company!).
Obviously nobody likes to have to use accident repair places but these guys were good when you need them.

Fix Autos Atherstone have painted 2 cars for me now and both jobs have been absolutely outstanding.
The quality of workmanship is second to none.
The first job was a full panel strip and rear quarter replacement on my E93 M3 and the depth of shine is unbelievable, it’s been 12 months since I had this work done and it looks as good now as it did when it left their workshop.
The second job was my E46 M3 coupe which again was a full panel strip glass pit re paint and when I saw it I was gobsmacked with the finish, definitely a concourse finish.
The whole team at Fix autos are great, a very friendly team and always prepared to help and their knowledge of the trade cannot be faulted.
I have used several body shops in the past for my restorations but after I found these guys I will never use anyone else again.
I would give 10 stars if I could.

Very pleased with the workmanship that was carried out on my car. The garage was informative about everything thanks to Donna. They was very thoughtful in helping us to have our car back in between stages so we could use it for our summer holiday with the grandchildren as insurance company only let us borrow a very small car while ours was in the workshop When they brought the car back it was fully vacated and looked Great. Just collected my car after it was repaired following a minor scrape with a fence. The work was first class as was the attention afford to me. Well done fix- auto.

Very pleased with the repair to my car. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My car came back valeted and they even delivered my car back to me. Hopefully, won’t have to use them again, but if I do I am happy to go there again. Thanks

In the end a very good job was done on my vehicle. The biggest issues were not having the full explanations given to me for continuous delays. Job was supposed to be 4 days and ended up being 4 weeks. Each time being told the car was going in the paint shop.
When I did collect the full issue was explained fully and was totally understandable why the delay. Just needs over phone and email communications improving.

Amazing customer service & communication throughout, Helen kept me up to date on all aspects of the repair. Really impressed!

What a lovely team of people. Helen the Bodyshop manager made getting my Mazda MX5 fixed such an easy experience. Not only is the customer service excellent, my car has come back to me fully valeted (inside and out) and looks brand new, the respray of the body work is superb.
