Was asked to take car here by admiral after it had been in a accident when it was returned the panels was poorly aligned and steps in the joints so contacted admiral and the garage admiral sent out a independent assessor and Complaint 1: Front bumper misalignment**
The assessor found that the offside front corner of the bumper cover had been secured with an adhesive sealer in an attempt to hold it in place but had failed this has resulted in the paint on the wing being scratched and exposing bare metal.
Additionally, the securing points for the bumper were broken, and the vehicle’s undertray had been attached using cable ties. The assessor confirmed that the bumper cover will need to be replaced, along with the offside front bumper bracket, and new clips will be required to refit the undertray. Based on these findings, we have upheld this part of your complaint. **Complaint 2: Offside front wing misalignment**
The assessor confirmed that the offside front wing had been replaced; however, the gap between the offside front wing and the offside front door was not uniform, and the door was sitting proud of the nearside front wing. Additionally, the trim on the A-post was not fitted correctly and was misaligned with the offside front wing. Based on these findings, we have also upheld this part of your complaint.
Using glue and cable ties is a great short-term DIY option, but professional accident repair shops like Fix Auto Gloucester are strictly prohibited from using them. Because they are certified to the British Standard BS10125 safety accreditation,

Admiral has the report from the report from the independent assessor who inspected the car clearly says cable ties was used ask admiral for a copy of the report if you don't believe me I have requested a full copy of the report and happy to post it on here when I have it
What I find very disappointing is you denied that cable ties and try to make out I'm lying when admiral paid for a independent assessor to look at the car and that his report says cable ties was used and admiral has upheld my complaint and apologised

I waited while they fixed my car, I knew it would take a few hours. The receptionist was very friendly and offered me drinks. Sam explained what he thought the issue was with the car and how they were going to find the problem and fix it. Professional service all round, many thanks!

Aaron and Sam very friendly and professional, my car was mended within 5 working days, but a faulty rubber moulding has caused an issue and it has had to be returned twice.It is still not resolved and I found the greeting by those on reception to be very blunt and unwelcoming.

The staff were friendly and helpful & always gave me accurate information on how the work was progressing. Everything possible was done to help get the work and parts done as soon as possible - fortunately for me, they were able to let me have the courtesy car for as long as I needed it, which helped tremendously. The finished work was done to a very high professional standard. They certainly "went the extra mile". By my own admission, I am very fussy and have extremely high expectations. Fix Auto UK (Gloucester) have excelled in every respect with the repair they have completed on my car. Six-month old car suffered extensive hail damage in the recent storms over the SW of England. The damage was on every panel and, obviously, the roof! New roof needed which necessitated windscreen removal including interior headlining. From the beginning, Aaron & Sam demonstrated superb customer service skills (they always answer the phone) combined with high levels of attention to detail. And, on collection today the vehicle was IMMACULATE! Thanks also to Theresa. Overall, outstanding workmanship.

Shoddy paint job on bumper, leaving a scratch on new paint job after advising couldn’t replace due to 4 month wait. Disregarded insurance company protocol for delayed parts. Misadvised on invoicing process for payment of service (which at £200 was good value)

I took my car to Ultimate, in a state of embarrassment, after I had gone to another workshop and unfortunately the previous workshop absolutely ruined what had been a small scratch to my vehicle. My vehicle was only a few months old and my pride and joy. I was in a very anxious and nervous state.

From the outset I was treated with professionalism and felt at utter ease with Sam. I felt listened to and that he understood my position and had complete empathy for me. He very obviously had extensive experience and expertise in the field. He explained what he suspected had gone wrong with the previous repair and explained how my vehicle would be restored to its original state. Thank you Aaron and the team for the attentive service regarding my BMW. Communication was spot on, they recognised parts were being delivered late which impacted the completion of work however they kept me up to date throughout and even delivered my car as I couldn’t get to the centre to collect it. I called and spoke to Sam today enquiring into air con services for my car.

Sam explained the services available in great deal, and when I had follow up questions he articulated them in a manner that was easy to understand to someone not as well versed in cars.

After opting for an aircon re-gas, Sam advised I would be able to bring my car in later that afternoon.

I managed to find the garage easily due to clear signage.

Upon entering staff were readily able to welcome me in and very polite.

I chose not to wait at the premises, but they had chairs available, and a toilet to use if needed.

When returning, Sam took me to my car and explained what work was done, that no issues were discovered and asked me check I was happy. The aircon was back to its best.

This was my first time using Fix Auto Gloucester, and if I ever need any work or advice on my car in the future I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again.
