Excellent excellent excellent

This company is an absolute God send. After my insurance company gave me the run around saying my phone was unfixable i went to Fix factor to try retrieve my data. Fixfactor did a diagnostic and was able to tell me it was just due to a broken screen. They gave me options of fixing the screen to original, a temporary screen to retrieve my data or for them to retrieve my data. I paid for the quick service and they really delivered. I requested photos of the damage and of the inside of the phone and they gladly obliged.

I would highly recommend this company. Customer service was excellent and clear and helpful both verbally and via email.

I would them 10 stars if they could.
Thank you so much.

I had an issue with the back of my…

I had an issue with the back of my Samsung Galaxy S9 having cracks around the camera lens. I initially tried to fix this myself after following some online videos and purchasing a few tools etc. As I started doing this, it became apparent that I was no expert, and managed to crack the back even more. I was ready to throw in the towel, so I called FixFactor and explained what I had done, and rather than telling me book my phone in for a professional repair, the gentleman spent 10 mins on the phone with me trying to explain how I can do it myself. I then went away equipped with some extra knowledge and confidence, and was able to remove the back cover and re-attach the lens cover and fingerprint sensor, but I just wasn't confident attaching my shiny new back, so I called FixFactor again and they said to just pop in. So I went in, and was greeted by nice friendly staff and an offer to re-attach the back of the phone, this took about 15 minutes, and they didn't want any payment for this. Although I did give them a Friday tip to get a cool beer. Thanks a lot, really appreciated :-)

As good as new

Fixfactor replaced the broken back glass screen of my Huawei P30 Pro. As far as I can tell the repair is as “good as new”. I appreciated it’s made clear to you can have the original part replaced with a actual Huawei Part or a copy. They highlight in red (instead of hiding it in small print) that he repair my not be as waterproof as the original. Possibly it could have arrived one day sooner, but certainly it was not slow in arriving.

Awful customer service

Took my MacBook in as a key had fallen off - they said they could superglue it back on (which as they are a seemingly reputable computer repair business, I assumed was standard practice). 20 mins later the glue then dried and broke the keypad. I took it back and they said there was nothing they could do, that they tried to help and when I explained that them trying to help had made the issue a lot worse, they tried to blame me by saying I said it was ok to use superglue! I explained that I assumed superglue wouldn't damage my MacBook as it was their suggestion to do this, and they run a business which fixes computers. The guy then started being really aggressive as he knew he was wrong. Avoid at all costs.

Hi James, we have had a conversation after your visit regarding the matter. Apologise for the inconvenience and the misunderstanding with the staff member. Apologise that we have actually made the problem worse. You have visited us with one of the latest MacBooks and the single key falling out. We did not suppose to offer you just a single key re-fitting but the entire keyboard should have been replaced. Instead, our team member offered to glue the key back but it was worse than before. It should have not been offered to you as a solution. Lesson learned. I have admitted our mistake with the repair, wrong approach and offered to repair it again. Apple offered you free repair in the meantime since this is actually common problem with this MacBooks. I hope they have resolved your issue. Apologise and I hope we will get a chance to help you with something in the future.
Regards
Marcin

Dear Ronald,
I understand that you leave a review based on your feelings but what have we done wrong? You have sent liquid damage iPad for water damage cleaning service that has been described on the website. I would like to remind you that the water damage is unpredictable in terms what components will get the hit inside. Sometimes it an easier fix, sometimes not possible to repair at all. The website explained that we will disassembled the device, clean corrosion and if any replacement parts are needed, we will quote for them. We have done exactly what we have described: we have disassembled the device, washed the logic board in ultra sonic cleaner along with other corroded components. We have found that the LCD is damaged by the liquid and cannot be repaired so we have quoted you the price to replace it. Is it our fault that it is an expensive part? We have done our job. We give customer an option to give their devices repaired. I would honestly wish the washing was enough. Reviewing us for incompetence for not being able to repair device dropped to water within the price of just the cleaning is not fair.... I appreciate if you point our mistake or if you remove the review. Thank you.

Prompt repair of surface pro 4

Prompt repair of surface pro 4, suffering from a bulging screen due to a battery fault (poor design/part choice by Microsoft). Where MS refuse to own their error, Fixfactor stepped up & - for much less than the cost of a new Surface Pro - repaired my device, just in time for me to complete my tax returns! Thank you so much.

They fixed my phone quickly, for the price I saw when I first searched

Somehow a phone that won't charge (faulty smartphone outlet socket), is more inconvenient than a laptop or PC not working, but the frustration levels are similar. Found Fixfactor on a search, checked the Trustpilot reviews and headed for the post office, 4 1/2 days later, it's back and it works. I sent it registered post and could track the delivery 24 hours after dispatch, the wonderful Kate responded immediately to my enquiry about whether they had the phone and the parts for the repair. She also responded helpfully when little more than a day later I chased for progress. Delivered back by the same Post Office service, the same week. Fixfactor did exactly what was required, the phone now charges and and plugs into Android Auto (not to be taken for granted). I hope I don't need to use them too often, but have no hestiation in recommending that others do.

Very good phone repair service

Prompt service - Google phone with dodgy camera received by company on Monday and returned with camera seemingly in good working order the following Friday. Haven't had much opportunity to test it thus far but all seems well.
