Both my son and daughter damaged their IPOD 4th Gen screen within a week of each other. Both are out of warranty and the "Geniuses" want $99 per screen to fix. I ordered a white replacement screen and an Orange replacement screen. I followed the video exactly and had no issues at all. The video is long (45 mins), but it explains all of the parts and why you are disassembling the way that you are. This was crucial for me as when I got to the test prior to full re-assembly, the digitizer was not working on each of the units (yes - it happened to me twice). I then went back and re-attached each and everything worked flawlessly.

Highly recommend spending 1/4th of getting the "geniuses" to do this repair. I recommend getting the tool pack if you do not already have these tools. I used an exacto knife and a guitar pick for prying. a precision phillips (i.e very small) and regular tweezers.

On a difficulty scale of easy, intermediate, or advanced, for replacing - I rank between easy to intermediate.

Ordered a replacement IPhone 5/IPad mini cord. I checked elsewhere and the average price ranged from $12-$25, then I happened upon this site.
