Poor service. Centre gear was not round causing wobble. No refund given.

Order was processed and shipped very quickly, especially for how far the package had to travel. The info/knowledge database on the website was very helpful for making repairs. The parts were all good quality, fit correctly, and resulted in me being able to get 3 different models of Sony walkmen in working condition with no previous repair experience. I had also purchased a 3k Hz tape, from the site, for adjusting the playback speed and good thing i did as 2 of the walkmen needed speed adjustment. Every part of the experience using this site was great and I am just really glad there is a vendor that not only has the parts to repair these old devices, but also does such a good job.

Interesting that others complain of "flabby" belts. Impatience? I have just had a belt delivered for an Aiwa J700 Walkman cassette/radio player. Much cleaning required to remove the goo of the old belt, but new one fits perfectly. Initially there was wow and flutter as the machine had not been used for over 30 years and the motor and pulleys were slightly arthritic, but once bedded in after an hours playing, it is perfect.
Also they were very good at communicating regarding the delivery (almost too good), so many emails. Overall a fair price for a hard to find product, good quality and it fits and works fine and was delivered in a timely manner. Would recommend.

Product quality
I ordered driving-belts for Sony Walkman.
The belt fits but quality seems to be low. Belt is too flabby/slack - quite nearly as the worn-out one I did replace.
Its easy to see how it flabbs when you change playing direction and see how the belt wobbles.
I had one of different supplier some time ago for the identical model and that did not wobble.

Wow and flutter using the Sony during walking is recognizable now. When it lays on the desk it plays without wow and flutter.

Result
Finally I would rather purchased a more expensive one, because I'd like to use my Walkman during outside activities and not just keep it as collectors item.

Kudos to Fixyouraudio for producing and providing parts for most walkman models.
I'm giving it 3 stars for good capstan rings made of brass, but their belts are terrible. The cheapest on the web, but also the worst ! I've ordered belts for about 4 different Sony and Panasonic walkmans - after replacing them, the speed fluctuated badly, and adjusting the speed or letting it run for days didn't help the issue. And I noticed this on others who used replacement belts from Fixyouraudio. On the other hand, getting the most expensive belts from ebay for the exact same models and replacing them, will give perfect results - zero wow&flutter.
So yeah, great seller, very friendly, fast and serious, but their replacement belts are not worth it !

Ordered a new belt for my old Sony Walkman. Ordering process was easy, price was reasonable and delivery was fast. The new belt fits perfectly and I can now again enjoy my old tapes while strolling the local park :-). Thank you for offering spare parts for old units!
