I absolutely love my chesterfield piece. I have wanted one for years and after looking at so many, and considering the price, I decided to go right to the source. It took just as much time and the cost was similar if I would have ordered from a company in the U.S.. Excellent quality, it’s sleek and beautiful. I couldn’t be happier. There were several dates of delivery changes, which was difficult to adjust work schedules, but that has nothing to do with the quality.

The company takes great pride in supplying high quality hand made furniture. We are very pleased with the results and look forward to many years of comfortable seating.
Buyers should note though that the expected delivery date is only an estimate, as we did have some further delay before the items were ready for dispatch. Additionally, the delivery company can also then take up to 10 working days from collection at the factory, before they can deliver to your home.
Although don’t expect any progress updates, unless you ask for them.
Overall a good experience.

This was my first time ordering bespoke furniture, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I'm tall, and they were even able to add a little extra height to the chair making it both very comfortable and elegantly beautiful. It was worth the 5 month wait.

Perfect quality and comfort (Cromwell King)! Highly recommend it! The team is very helpful and will provide you with all the details and help you’ll need to make the perfect choice. Again, the finish of these handmade sofas is beautiful.
If you can, we also recommend you to go and see their manufacture, which can also help you finding the right model and colour!
PS: Even the sofa hoisting company (which sees hundreds of sofas from different manufacturers) was impressed by the high quality of this handmade sofa!

The sofa itself looks and feels well made. The team was very helpful in providing information and following up throughout the process of manufacturing and delivery.
However, the dimensions provided by the team were not accurate unfortunately. This meant I had to arrange for a furniture lifting company the day after delivery, to get the sofa lifted through a window as it didn't fit through the front door of my building.
Overall a positive experience except for that one little mishap.

Thought I had found the perfect design in chair (3 seater Mustang), and party to make it, but find myself regretting that I didn't do that extra due diligence.
Service team very attentive during early days whilst we worked out whether there could be any issues in fitting the chair in my new property. We discussed matters, over an extended period, sharing dimensions and floor plans etc to conclude that things were good to go.
Had no requirements for interactions after the order was placed so left the team to it.
When paying the balance, after notice that the chair was ready, I chose to 'check in' given passage of time and various matters including experiences re deliveries from other, unconnected, parties. I was assured that the F&H experience would be much more collaborative but sadly found that not to be the case.
Essentially F&H will extricate themselves from the delivery process in the 'belief' that their "trusted partners" can be more nimble in arranging delivery directly. Sounds great - what possibly could go wrong...
Not entirely unexpectedly, a third party left largely to their own devices, with only general direction on timeframe/deadline that delivery should be made by, will choose a date and time that suits them. Who can blame them - that is what they have been contracted to do.
This sees the delivery process very much being one of 'take it or leave it' and with F&H (the only party you have a contract with) out of the picture, options for control/influence are limited.
My personal experience was along the lines of: 'take it or leave it date' being 'offered'; request from me to understand what the next available date would be and being told that they would slot me back into a schedule in 2 weeks but couldn't give more than that; me rearranging various work commitments that I really shouldn't have, and then the day before delivery being told that drivers hadn't called in so delivery wouldn't happen; delivery date 2, through a second firm, was arranged on the same 'forced' basis although on much tighter timescales; thankfully they were able to offer another earlier date through good fortune (they had a last minute cancellation) when it transpired that their initial date conflicted with the other work commitments I'd previously rearranged.
Through various interactions with the F&H team I would hear the mantra that high value heavy items have special logistical considerations and that they cannot compromise on quality. Although this is a long review the reality was much more painful and this excuse quickly got tiring.
If I was ever approaching a transaction like this again - and it will never be with F&H - I would be asking myself who am I paying and for what. If it's manufacture and delivery the supplier won't get to extricate themselves from the second stage.
I have seen fingers pointed at delivery partners in other reviews but for me the issue is the management decision on outsource of delivery without suitable controls - that is inexcusable.
