Being part of the many people experiencing difficulties in getting back to the UK from Perth WA, owing to the war in the Middle East, my wife and I made a visit to Flight Centre in Joondalup WA. With our Qatar Airways Return Flights cancelled, we needed to find an alternative (and safer) route home. We were greeted by Felipe Valente and were immediately impressed by his courtesy, followed by his knowledge and skills, which quickly resolved our situation. All looked good, until Lufthansa cancelled our flights, with very short notice, owing to a Strike by Pilots and Cabin Crew. We went back to Flight Centre and were relieved to see Felipe available to help us. And he did - once again quickly finding yet another option, that will get us home just two days later, than the Lufthansa Flights.

Veronica has been so incredible in helping us book our honeymoon even with last minute changes she has been the biggest help and has us feeling so at ease and excited about our trip. We could not recommend her enough and from now on we will book all of our trips with her! :)

Daughter, who was booking flights, and I went to Joondalup. After waiting 10 minutes we saw Emily. My daughter had a rough itinerary sorted. Emily found flights and printed them out. We realised one flight would not work for us, as it only allowed for 1hr 50min connection in Singapore. Although Emily told us that quick connections are always docked at neighbouring gates, we know this not to be true, as we've almost missed several flights due to distance between gates. At any rate, we decided to change a flight, allowing a longer connection time in Singapore. Emily went and printed that out . I turned to my daughter, whose whole demeanour had changed from one of excitement to one of being upset. I asked what was wrong. She told me that whilst she had been looking up flights, Emily had been " trash talking" us amongst a group chat about changing a flight. As her whole raison d'être is booking and amending flights ( many more complicated than ours,) we are overwhelmed with a sense of bewilderment, unhappiness, disappointment and even anger. My daughter is still almost in tears, several hours later. I am seething. How dare someone be so unkind, unjust and lack any care for her profession? My daughter booked and paid for the tickets, Emily will receive her commission, no time was wasted. We are very unhappy.
By the way, I screenshot the conversation and on leaving, I mentioned to Emily that " trash talking" was unprofessional and she may want to rethink her actions.
