Due to a medical condition
Due to a medical condition, a Doctor's certificate provided I had to cancel flights, tours, cruise, accommodation etc. I did not like the answer I received "I clearly explained it could take up to 12 weeks for our refunds". Yesterday I sent and email detailing that 13 weeks and three days have since passed. Before this email, earlier I had phoned several times and was brushed off, and of course did not receive any further correspondence.
Also, I requested assistance in receiving refunds for two hotels that I booked through Flight Centre. I gather no attempt was made to retrieve this money, even though I did contact two other representatives at Flight Centre. You may say they were booked on the understanding no refund was possible. However when I reached out to Hotel Sophia and the Ferry Hopper company and supplied my medical certificate, their empathy and understanding refunded most of the money.
Today I receive one sentence, chasing up your flight refunds. This is poor service.
