I too tried to book a direct flight to…

I too tried to book a direct flight to Athens. I was caught up in exactly the situation described by others. It is impossible to get out of the situation. Because I was changing flights I booked the Flightconnection charge which showed up as £29 however when checking my statement I had been charged. £79 admin absolutely a con. I now need to change my outgoing flight, however easyJet don’t want to know and send me back to Dohop. I’ve lost hundreds of pounds.

Also changing flights you get charged twice for seats and luggage.

Scam — buys connecting easyjet flights for you, at a cost

“Flight Connections by Easyjet” is a scam disguised as an easyjet website… I went to the easyjet website and searched for a one way trip between two cities without a direct flight. I was immediately sent to this Flight Connections by Easyjet, which looked like the original Easyjet website, and booked the two connecting flights without noticing there was a hidden booking and service fee that ammounted to 58€ for 3 people (and with no extra benefits, namely connection support or reimbursment in case of missing the connecting flight, which would cost another 13€+ per person). Upon paying, I received three different emails, with two independent easyjet reservations and the dohop service fee, which I could have avoided by booking both flights myself, one at a time, for the exact same price, on the original website. Total scam and not clear at all as I started on the official Easyjet website and ended up on a third party company. Beware!
