A very well run SCAM
I received a €300 voucher for flights at Christmas as my friends and family know i travel a lot. i decided toget a direct flight to China from Dublin, online i found a flight with Hainan airlines for €790 return I thought this is great with my voucher this will only cost me around 500 howver when i go to book with flightgift i see the exact same flight is 1170 return on the flightgift site making the voucher completely useless.
This company takes your money when you pay for the voucher then takes more money off you when you book a flight it is a very well run SCAM nothing more nothing less.

Indecent refund time
Two of my flights booked with Flightgift were canceled last minutes and the refund process is taking months compare the the usual few days when i book directly with the company. So my flightgift money is not accessible during weeks and weeks while this process is happening. If you book with Flightgift you wont be able to use your money right away in a situation where you flight was canceled. I’m writing directly with the flight company to get as much information on why it’s been taking so long and where my money worth is sitting in the meantime!
Horrible as usual!
I understand that cancelations happens but the entire process of going thru Flightgift instead of directly is taking months instead of the regular few days!
I have to send several email to get some news!

Furthermore, refunds through suppliers can take some time to be finalized as multiple payment providers are involved and procedures are different than when booking directly with the airline.
We have taken all necessary actions on time so that the refund is placed and processed. We are monitoring all refund cases daily and follow-up with our suppliers and the airlines for potential updates.
Since those procedures depend on other parties, we have no way to expedite or finalize the process. However, we fully understand your position and empathize with you.
