The EU has an extremely comprehensive regulation called EU261 that is designed to hold airlines financially responsible when passengers experience unpleasant or unfair travel experiences. No matter if you are a European traveler or you are just visiting the EU, all passengers departing from a European airport are covered by this regulation.International Air Passenger Rights. Over 130 countries have adopted a multilateral treaty called The Montreal Convention. Avoid then at all costs!!

NEVER GO WITH A THRID PARTY FOR A COMPENSATION REQUEST!! If I could give it a zero, I would. I am waiting for my compensation since September. They are not giving me any timeline by when I’ll have my money. When you contact them on Whastapp, there is an automatic response that you receive. Since September I could only reach them over the phone once. Then the lady put me through what THEY call an “ urgent push “ so I will have my money asap. That was in November. Since then there is no one that I could reach over the phone. I am actually sick of having to keep asking for updates. I am sorry I did not wait and go to Wizz directly.

Compensation received from airline but not paid to me

I used FlightHelp to handle a compensation claim with Wizz Air. Wizz Air paid the compensation to FlightHelp in May, and FlightHelp has confirmed in writing that they received the funds, validated my bank details, and approved my case.

However, several months later, I still have not received my payment. Despite multiple follow-ups, FlightHelp is unable to provide any estimated payment date, repeatedly stating that my case is “in the payment queue” and processed in “batches”.

Due to the prolonged and unexplained delay, I have been forced to submit a formal complaint to the UK International Consumer Centre (ECC).

I hope FlightHelp resolves this matter promptly

Do not go with them - Scam

Since October 2025 till now (december 2025) they say that “something details are blank”
When you submit the claim the aplications is forcing you to fill all the blanks. I’ve put my bank statements 2 times, I’ve done the aplication twice.

Take them to court and get your money by law.

This is a HUGE SCAM
