Booked a flight did not get confirmation. Went to call customer service and a person answered hello...I asked if this was flight merchant and he said oh yes. He has an Indian accent and I was asking about my flight and he said someone will call me back with confirmation number. I thought it was strange and I continued to question him. He told me he was a Spanish speaking agent and didn't speak good english lol. I said you most certainly are not Hispanic. Anyway after phone call I came to the reviews and freaked out. I checked my bank account and nothing was charged so I called my bank and cancelled my card and explained I was scammed. I sure am glad I did because that evening they tried to charge 1100 dollars to my card. Flight was only 130. Stay clear of this website.

Credit card fraude
Credit card fraude ! Never make a reservation with them. They use credit card fraude to book your flight. And your payment for your trip is going to a private bank account. People blocked the fraude payment. You come to airport and your reservation has been cancelled for fraude ! You have to pay cash, a very expensive last minute flight, directly to the airport to be able to leave or come back home ! Also they are using you credit card to fraude other people. Do never, NEVER, book a trip with them. Please be carefull, I have been scammed via a normal plateforme like Expedia booking etc … unfortunately they are using those plateforme via a fake agency company. Be carefull and never trust them !!!

What i can say is that my experience with flight merchant was extremely stressful, the day i was suppose to depart Dominican Republic back to Boston Massachusetts i was informed that my flight, did not receive a call like they informed me they were going to do, I had to call them because i never received my departing flight information, it was very inconvenient for us due to them not informing us that they changed on flight without even asking on there, we had to pay extra for parking back in Boston, we also had to pay for our seats on each plane , we had a layover in New York and didnt land in Boston until 1am,

Nelson and Felipe I wish that some day, that what y’all horribly do to people will some day fall back on you. Twice the worst that you dealt to other innocent people. And I hope that the travel agency board will take a look into this website, of the rip offs that these people are doing to innocent people. That they would be removed. Never in my wildest dreams thought I would get caught up in this misleading misinformation that y’all had up on your website. If this is how y’all roll, people should never show any support here on the flightsmerchant website. So utterly disgusting and shameful you all are.

I ordered 2 tickets through this “company” because my daughter and I are going in a cruise. It was during the holidays so I was busy, but saw an email from them on the 27th of December. It said my seats were no longer available and I had to pay twice as much as the original price if I wanted tickets. I called the number on the Facebook page, but it was a sex line. The correct number was on the website. He (can’t remember his name because I was so shook up) told me he had been trying and trying to call me. I had no missed calls or any voicemails from them. Only an email. He insisted they needed more money for the tickets as those seats were no longer available. I told him no, that’s now how this works, and I want a refund. He informed me that was not an option. I asked to speak with his supervisor and he put me on “hold,” and about 5 minutes later told me there weren’t any supervisors available and to call back in the morning after 8am. I called at 8:10am and (big surprise) there was no answer. Ever since I first called, I thought it was strange that the same person answered the phone each time I had called (there were multiple calls). This is probably a guy or group of guys who made a site and find cheap tickets online making it look like they have best best priced tickets, but they don’t. My card was charged to the airline the night I was told to call the supervisor in the morning. Like, right after our call! Unfortunately, I didn’t realize initially that the charge was actually to the airline, and disputed it through my bank thinking it was flightmerchant.com. He must’ve sensed I wasn’t about to let this go and quickly purchased the tickets on the airline’s website to cover his ass. So now it’s 6 days away from our cruise and I still don’t have tickets because I currently can’t afford to buy two more, and canceling the dispute has been a long drawn-out process. Sorry for such a long rant, but it really didn’t help having this on top of all the other stuff going on in my life right now. I just want them to get shut down or have some type of repercussions for their actions, because it’s clearly not just me this happened to… and I keep thinking about all the people that didn’t know better and just paid the increased charge. That’s what really pisses me off!

Do not use this company. I lost $4500 for flights to Thailand.
Let me lay out a timeline for you:
Firstly they get you with their low prices.
You book - there is NO secure payment method you have to put your credit card details into their site, you’re so desperate for the cheap fare you risk it.
(They’re now claiming a week later that it’s my fault that the payment didn’t go through because I didn’t pay through a secure payment method? There was no option!????)
Red flag #1.
- you get an automated email confirmation with all of the flight details saying you will get your E-ticket within 48hours. You think great it’s legit.
- 24 hours later you get a very strange call from a “staff member” who is mumbling and can barely make any sense, asks if you are flexible with your dates because the return flight has been overbooked? You say no he says he will figure it out. The conversation is over. ????
- after the call you think that’s odd, start doing some research and realise they are a scam.
- you email multiple times to ask for your tickets and or money back. You get a dancing around the point reply from [Name Removed] who kindly reminds you they are non refundable. They completely ignore everything you said.
- you try to call them 6 times no answer.
My bank thank goodness cancelled the transaction and gave me my money back.
They try to claim that was them refunding you and ask what else you want help with???
It’s all just really strange and a well laid out scam. While you’re going back and forth and hoping you’ll get your tickets, they’re wasting your time while the other flights out there go up in price.
Some of their email reply’s come from the “team” Some come from a person. Who knows what is going on.
Whatever you do, don’t use this company.
They are now emailing me trying to claim their customer service is slow because of how busy they are?
This whole experience is crazy and I can’t believe this business is still in operation.
