I purchased an item from the wide selection offered online on Wednesday and received my order on Saturday. From graciously placing a reservation on a pistol through to delivery, the whole process was straightforward and trouble free. The honest description of the items online is reflected in the fair and competitive pricing. Overall, I absolutely would recommend "Flintlock & Blackpowder" and will hopefully be buying again in the near future.

John couldn’t have been more responsive or helpful - a real pleasure to deal with. I purchased an East India Company percussion pistol and I’m delighted with it: excellent condition and very reasonably priced. The Flintlock and Black Powder website is also excellent: lots of pictures, a video and a detailed description. Altogether, highly recommended.

Just started to collect these types of pistols and the seller couldn’t be more helpful,I had lots of questions they he was incredibly helpful with,I purchased a lovely flintlock pistol and he even gave me a 5% discount and the pistol arrived 48hrs later very well packed to keep it safe.
I will be buying more from here,also the prices are incredibly reasonable compared to the thousands of pounds other sellers/dealers want.

FL and BP maintain an interesting and varied stock of firearms and, very often, a small range of difficult to find accessories for flintlock and percussion pistols. A full description of an item is always supplied together with photographs and a short video.

John is extremely knowledgeable about antique guns. He gave expert advise to me when I contacted him regarding a couple of pocket pistols on his website that interested me. I did explain that I was looking to start a small collection and that these might suit. He explained about the workings of the two guns which I found very useful.
