Drivers asked for cash when I didn't pay my luggage went missing.

Travelled from Ghent to Amsterdam, the drivers asked me for 10Euros cash because according to them I can't have a backpack along with the hand carry and luggage. I asked them to give me a receipt for that they said we dont have a receipt. So, I didn't pay them and put my stuff in the luggage storage they did not stop me or say anything at all. But when I arrived at Amsterdam sloterdijk my handcarry was gone. I asked them my hand carry is missing they just said we dont know shut the door and drove away. The behaviour of drivers was extremely rude. I hope to never ever travel with them again.

I do not recommend

I have called few times customer service to confirm correct adres of the bus stop in a city. I needed to know where I needed to pick up my niece. They were unable to confirm if address i have found on their website is the correct one.
When my sister was booking ticket it said there will be 1 bus change and it will be around 1 houre wait but few weeks later it turned out there is change in schedule and there will be more bus changes and even 6 hour wait for next bus to arrive.
While i was calling from my side german customer service she was texting with polish one. Also there customer service officer did not understood her simple question " if in Dusseldorf bus that her doughter will be travelling will wait until next bus will arrived or het 15 year old doughter will have to wait alone 6 hours for next bus?" What is there not to understand? Or what it takes to confirm arrival address?

No issues, easy to use!

Took a bus from Paris to Bordeaux. Bus was on time, took regular breaks for food and toilets and we only arrived slightly late due to traffic. Only complaint was the bus was hot but that’s not a major issue. We could track our journey through the app and gave us an ETA. No issues here!

Disrespectful company

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience with FlixBus. On May 20, 2024, I had a ticket for bus 620C from Copenhagen to Malmö. When I got to the bus stop, I asked the driver of bus 620 if it was the right bus. He told me to wait for a few minutes. Later, he rudely informed me that his bus wasn't the correct one and that it wasn't his responsibility to help me further. Because of this, I missed my bus by one minute and had to buy an expensive train ticket to reach my destination.

The driver's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Even though I showed him my ticket, his incorrect guidance led to a lot of stress and extra costs. When I contacted FlixBus customer service, their response was slow and unhelpful. They offered me a refund, but after deducting a processing fee, it amounted to nothing.

FlixBus's response completely ignored my concerns about their employee's behavior and the inconvenience caused. This entire experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I really hope FlixBus takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service and employee training to prevent this from happening to others. Until then, I can't recommend FlixBus and will be sharing my experience on social media and exploring my options with a legal advisor.

Terrible experience

The experience was awful, the bus delayed for a whole hour. People on the bus kept talking, singing and screaming. I would say next time I won’t choose taking flixbus just for saving 10 euros. It isn’t worth at all.

Incredibly rude driver

Incredibly rude driver. We asked nicely because we could not find our bus. We are both hearing impaired women and could not find any sign to help us locate the departing busses. He just made a series of jokes about us apparently not being able to read signs, went back to his bus and left.

flixbus are cheaper than their prices. Do not be fooled by their cheap prices, because you will lose your money, and they will put you in a painful situation. A false last-minute cancellation, or a long false delay intended to prompt you to cancel your reservation. In both cases you will have to pay cancellation fees.

In both cases, they sell your seat to someone else at a higher price, and rebook you at later times of their choice. They call this sick trick delay, in order to circumvent European laws.

Do not be fooled by them saying full refund for your money, they will have several ways to steal your money, for example you get a full refund on the outbound flight, while you lose on the return flight, because there is no delay yet. But how do you get back from a place where these psychopathic people wouldn't let you go in the first place?

They push me to cancel my trip and pay cancellation fees, while their bus left on time; their driver did not let me ride the bus, he said my seat was canceled, and I was rebooted at a bus 120 minutes later, and they refused to confirm if I could travel or not, or the bus would certainly come after 120 minutes.
If you want information, I can send you my canceled tickets, and all other information to save you such scams and painful experience.

I would rather walk than spend a penny on Flix bus

My parents (60+) booked Flix bus from St. Catherines to NYC which was supposed to leave at 11:30 PM from a stop in the middle of the road at King and Carlisle. First we got an email that bus is delayed by 20 minutes, then the live status on the app stopped working. It was 12:10 when I called the helpline and two customer service reps took my info only to hang up on me without providing the dispatch status of the bus. The third time I called helpline they said that they could not find the status of the bus. Nobody knew where the driver or bus was. All this time I am on the road with my old parents at midnight waiting for the bus that Flix crew does not even know has left for the stop or not. The helpline reps are unempathetic, have no knowledge or basic communication skills.

Used this service before and didn't…

Used this service before and didn't have any issues but today has been a long day I'm stressed and anxious. My little girl is special needs and she also has epilepsy . The hear ans tiredness triggers seizures and the heat on this bus bevauae one of the drivers was cold is unreal. He gets paid to be here we have to pay to be here should not be sitting struggling fir 4 hours with a poorly kid. Anyway one of the drivers turned it down no worries 10 mins later was that hot could not touch it cause the other driver was outside waiting on the bus being fixed as it broke down . So went back down and said you have turned it up even hotter now explained to the selfish one my kidd special needs and struggling I'm worried height have a seizure he shrugged his shoulders and said go stand outside 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 so again fir a service I paid for but rather than turn heating down in April he wants me and my kid to sit outside. His attitude was crappie tbh and my kid said she wants mega bus next time 😄 🤣 been a long day and really has put me off bevause the man's attitude. Like she a kid

Miserable service ever. Be careful

Was travelling from Paris to Amsterdam (Bus: X800). It was not a FlixBus company bus they outsource to another company. The bus was really bad and uncomfortable for 8 hr of journey. There were no Wi-Fi. Seats were really narrow.

The bus stopped somewhere close to Belgium border for Dinner. Driver declare a 25 mins break. I was 30 seconds late (urgent toilet situation that I could not avoid).

The bus left me in the middle of nowhere in a gas station, and it took all my belongings. My passport, Visa, my luggage!

Overnight it made me illegal (in a foreign country without passport and Visa).

I called for some help (professional by paying money) in Amsterdam. Book Uber (around 500 Euro) to run behind the bus to get my documents. Nothing works because the Uber and Bus rout did not match. And the Bus did not stop to the right FlixBus stop in amsterdam.

All hope gone. Talked to FlixBus customer care. I have talked to at least 5 people. All of them says sorry but can not help.

I have raised a lost and found request. For 5 days status says "We found something need to double check of this is of your"! What the hell, its my passport and Visa with my personal data, why can not they identify me immediately!

I am illegal in Europe now and no hotel or hostel giving me accommodation. My Visa Expiring soon. I can not go back to my country without passport and Visa.

Flixbus has no service that can give me priority or there is no way even to talk to lost and found department.

Careful! Worse bus service in Europe! They made my life literally miserable.

Do not expect any help from flxbus…

Do not expect any help from flxbus personnel, near the the stop, in the bus or from contact center. I arrived 40 minutes in advance, from past experience I have missed a bus that departed early, couldn't find my stop. When I did find it the fluxbus personnel did not know whether my bus was departed or not. once on the bus you do not feel safe,...

It’s a last resort service

It’s a last resort service. Overpriced for what you get - always freezing on board somehow? Usually delayed- but to be fair that’s common with bus transport. If you can get a train then opt for that, these buses are crowded and cold.

Wrong messages & waiting for compensation

Got a sms and an e-mail that my buss was delayed, with a new arrival time, and mentioned to be there 10 min. before the new departure time.
Upon arrival it seemed that the bus passed already and the communication was send wrongly. Until today I did not receive a reply yet from the customer service to get my payment back I had to make for an alternative transport.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is below any form of legality and morality,AVOID AT ALL COSTS,they ruined my life,dont do the same mistake..I am currently stranded in Antwerp from 17.02.2024,from 23:00 a trip from Amsterdam to London,because I didn't had a passport but I had a national european union ID card which is the legal requirements of entering UK and its stated in terms and conditions in their site that it's ok passport,national ID or visa and yet they refused to let on the bus,refused to allowe me in another bus,I've been phoning the emergency lines and they say they can't do nothing,they stole my luggage while I was beging them to don't leave me there after I payed 149£ a ticket and I had all papers and the drivers start laughing..I have no clothes,no money,no way to get back to London ,they stole everything,sleeping in the parks in the rain,no battery and yet on 18.02.2024 10 am,the emergency line people refuse to connect me to any supervisor and they say it's my fault and they can't do nothing ..Im going to walk to London probably but don't do the same mistake,they will leave to die,what animals..

Avoid, dangerous and racist

My first bus from London to Brussels was one hour late. Second bus the driver first lied to us and said we weren’t on the right bus, made racist remarks and then refused to let me and three other passengers on the bus. Costumer support were to no help. I had to book an entire new ticket paying double the price of the first one and missed my connection from Hamburg. We were all left in a city were we didn’t know people close to midnight.

While I am used to flixbus service for example a driver forgetting to empty the toilet so had to drive for 5 hours without a bathroom, (so that it wouldn’t flow over), or a drunk driver that had to be asked to leave the bus more than once by border control and fellow passengers this is by far my worst, least safe experience.
