So update to my service with Floor Giants - after receiving a lovely reassuring call from the company I was promised a visit from the fitters on the Wednesday and surprise surprise no visit and to top it off no follow up call from floor giants the following day as promised! Can I say I am surprised ??? No I ain’t awful company

I posted a negative review about Floor Giants Doncaster a year ago on Google. Things have gone from bad to worse.

The floor they sold us is now failing. I complained and they sent someone to inspect it. That person acknowledged issues and reported back to head office. Their response? Blame us for using too much water or having damp. They said if I disagreed, I should get an independent inspection.

I paid £350 for that, and the independent report clearly stated it was due to poor fitting (not water damage).

The fitter was recommended by Floor Giants, but because we paid him directly, they claim no responsibility. They say they only recommend fitters — a convenient excuse when things go wrong. They gave me the fitter’s number, but he’s not answering.

So after spending thousands on a floor that looked fine at first but is now deteriorating, I’ve been left with no support, no responsibility taken, and no comeback.

Please take this as a warning:
• Floor Giants recommend fitters but deny all liability
• Their customer service disappears when there’s a problem
• Even with an independent report, they won’t help
• You risk being left with a failed floor and no recourse

Spend your money with a local firm that employs its own fitters and guarantees their work. Floor Giants just sell the product and walk away.

The staff were very knowledgeable and professional in their dealings with customers.

I purchased 24 boxes of laminate flooring from Floor Giants. The experience in the shop and from the delivery driver was very good.
However, when I tried to return 3 boxes that were left over for a refund, I was refused as it was over 28 days since delivery. I am an amateur DIYer and took my time to lay the laminate correctly.
I feel let down that they couldn't refund me for the 3 unused boxes when I had spent £750 with them. Poor treatment of their customers

Great customer service from Josh in the Merthyr Tydfil store. After something specific which we found with assistance. Really very helpful and a discount always a bonus.

I really wanted to give Floor Giants 5 stars as the flooring I had put down is beautiful & I couldn't fault the fitter at the time however I've had to just give them 3 stars as 7 months later a small section of the flooring is ALREADY getting gaps in it where it joins & for something that's guaranteed for 15 years this is definitely NOT GOOD so I'm left feeling very disappointed
