Ordered carpet for a total of £648 last October that they advertised as in stock and ready for immediate delivery! Since then each week I have called and chased up they have said they don't actually have it but promised it would be next week then the week after etc etc.. We've been waiting now for over 3 months and they have kept our money. If they'd been honest and decent at the beginning and said we took your money but don't actually have it in stock and won't until January 2021 then we would have requested an immediate refund but no, they kept fobbing us off .. Dec I again chased them they again said they'd have our carpet beginning Jan 21 now ...mid Jan still no sign so we decided enough was enough now no more waiting and being fobbed off. I have all emails of promises to supply each week/month. Requested a full refund this Monday, assured us this would be done same day and would email to confirm. Heard nothing and no email no refund, called 3 times again today Thursday to be promised refund would be done today and again promised email to confirm this.... Still no refund or emails. Emailed again requesting refund today as they had now held our money for over 3 months and this was completely unacceptable. Joel emailed back confirming refund had now been done today... Still no refund or email confirmation but a bizarre email from a Stephen (manager of some sorts) stating refund still hadn't been done at all but coincidentally the carpet had just arrived and could be delivered at some point next week(more vagueness) .... So more lies and inconsistency... They advertise carpet as being in stock to take and keep hold of your monies for months and months on end promising they will have it next week, week after etc etc, I'm just sorry I kept on believing them . Not everything can be blamed on covid /brexit.... Just dont be such a dishonest company and falsely advertise carpet in stock for immediate delivery when you know full well its not.... They have refused 4 requests for a refund and persistently lied... Zero customer service, utterly disgraceful company.... We still await our refund.... Avoid at all costs!!!

Excellent service. A sample was sent through quickly, and some weeks later when we called to order the vinyl, that was delivered within two days. My telephone queries were dealt with promptly & with courtesy by Hannah. Their courier, Tuffnells, was equally on the ball. I'd definitely use Flooring UK again - very pleased.

My wife and I just got a new property and been looking at various flooring suppliers. We ended up going to Flooring U.K. in Birkenhead, they were reasonably priced and accommodating. The sales representative, Julie, provided a world class customer service experience. She made us feel welcome, informative and friendly. Julie was professional at all times and even though we had to change the date for our installation, Julie was again more than accommodating, she went out of her way to help. Because of Julie and the Manager, Ross, whilst they are still there and providing excellent service they will always have my custom.

Would give 0 if I could.
Ordered coir matting samples on 17/8, received email 18/8, advising despatched. Chased 22/8 via email....no reply! Rung 25/8, was advised guy will resend that day. Rung again 2/9 and advised still not received, was told by a lady....who was quite rude and abrupt, "she takes samples to post every night, so must be down to Royal Mail"! Funnily enough now 13/9 and still no samples!!
Don't bother using this company, clearly very poor customer service, not worth the time and effort!

After a computer glitch with their on-line ordering system, I contacted the company direct. The product I wanted was 100% wool Berber loop with 12mm underlay. The product and price were too good to miss just because the payment page wouldn’t pop up.
They couldn't have been more helpful or responded better.
The order was taken in the morning, placed with the courier that same day and delivered, over 200 miles away, the following day.
Family values, a quality product competitively priced and excellent customer service are what drive this company. If only more companies would adopt the same ethos.

Haven't received any of the samples I paid for after a month... I emailed online customer sales two weeks ago and got no reply at all. So far very bad service!

I can't say I can relate to anything mentioned in the other two reviews. I was really impressed with the service from Chris and the team at flooring.uk. They were friendly, knowledgeable and did everything they could to help advise me and ensure I had the right flooring, adhesive and tools etc to allow me to take on a recent flooring job myself. The flooring (vinyl parquet tiles) was high quality and their prices were very competitive compared to other suppliers I found out there. Based on my experiences recently, I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They do not state all the information you require when purchasing a floor. They missed out vital temperature specification. The flooring I purchased stated it was ideal for bathrooms and kitchen however, the direct sun in our kitchen makes the luxury vinyl flooring ripple each day. We have no other option but to replace it all!

Contacted the company director who fobbed me off via email. Happy to take a lot of money off me but offer no after sales or resolution.

AVOID and go with a well known high street company or flooring specialist.

They have sent me the wrong product but won't admit their mistake, will charge a restocking fee and postage if I send it back. Avoid!!
