Not recommend at all worse experience ever don't offer those flowers for a birthday gift

Just to clarify, in Mauritius, flowers such as chrysanthemums, anthuriums, and carnations are not exclusively funeral flowers. They are very commonly used in birthday bouquets and celebrations, especially when arranged in a colorful garden-style vase like the one you ordered. The meaning of flowers here really depends on the design, colors, and arrangement, not just the type of flower itself.
Your bouquet was prepared as a bright, mixed arrangement intended for a birthday, not a funeral setting. We would never intentionally send an inappropriate arrangement for such an occasion.
That said, we truly regret that it was perceived differently and caused disappointment. Your feedback is important to us, and we’ll take it into account to better guide clients, especially those ordering from abroad, on local floral styles and meanings.
