Very disappointing experience – damaged product with The Flower Wall Company
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with The Flower Wall Company.
I placed order #TFWC100788 for the White Premium Deluxe Rose Heart Flower Arch (#4916), a product purchased for professional event use.
Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged. As soon as we became aware of the extent of the damage, we contacted the company and provided photographic evidence.
Rather than focusing on the fact that we had received a damaged product, the company refused to provide a satisfactory resolution because, according to them, the damage had not been reported within their 5-day reporting period.
I find this particularly disappointing. Regardless of an internal reporting policy, a customer purchasing a premium product reasonably expects it to arrive in the condition advertised and suitable for its intended use.
What has been most frustrating is not simply that the product arrived damaged — problems can happen with any company — but the way the complaint has been handled and the lack of a reasonable solution once the issue was brought to their attention.
As a professional working in the wedding and events industry, I purchase products with the expectation that they will be reliable and presentation-ready. When something goes wrong, I also expect a supplier to work constructively with its customer to find a fair solution.
Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
I have photographs of the condition in which the product was received, as well as the correspondence with the company regarding my complaint.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from The Flower Wall Company carefully inspect every part of their order immediately upon delivery and report even the smallest issue straight away, as the company may otherwise rely on its reporting deadline to refuse a resolution.
I am still willing to resolve this matter directly with the company and would be happy to update this review if a fair and satisfactory solution is offered.
