Arrived in great shape ready to be stained. The only negative is that after staining we noticed a long strip mark above each horizontal “batten” that appears as though tape or something in the shape of tape might have been applied during the sanding process of each shutter as it dried with a lighter color along the top of each shutter (pictured). Once they were hung unless you know it’s there it’s hard to see. Overall we’re happy with the shutters. There was one shutter that appears a bit warped and separated from the screws into the batten but we fixed it before staining
