The company’s app malfunctions - the verbal responses are completely different than what’s written. I asked for a refund and they responded that I should keep paying them while their engineers try to figure out what’s wrong. I’ve cancelled subscription because it is a total waste of money.

Fluent forever re-subscribed me to their monthly plan after I cancelled my subscription.

Buyer beware: getting out of a yearly renewal is a nightmare. I cancelled my annual subscription, and they promised to send me a refund. But here it is 12 days later and they have not done it, nor have they responded to my messages.

Thankfully my bank called me telling me someone had tried to take money out of my account but failed. Thinking it was fraud, I was surprised to find it was the Fluent Forever app. It was trying to charge me for another years subscription, even though I had no emails from them about renewal and I had cancelled a year previously when I discovered how expensive they were. They did have the email me soon after my bank called me say they tried to take the money, that it failed, and could I please send them the money.
When I wrote back saying “ I already unsubscribe ( which was super difficult to do) and I won’t be renewing” they sent me a code and I had to reply to someone else with that code. Let’s see if the code works.

Great customer service, and great concept! I had the book first, and that’s one of my absolute favorite language learning books. The online stuff is a good addition to the book, and I used it until I reached B1 level and then I switched to a course in real live. I forgot to cancel my subscription in time, and the customer service was super nice and helpful!
I can fully recommend the fluent forever method (as it really works!) and the website!

I signed up 35 months ago. When I went to cancel my account, I received an email saying (and I'm paraphrasing) 'by the way, you have 2 accounts with 2 different verification methods. You cancelled one. Do you want to keep the other one?'
I said: (again paraphrasing) "Umm no. Also, I should only have one account. You've been billing me for 2 accounts for almost 3 years without my consent. Could I have that $350 back?"
They replied that it wasn't their mistake or various reasons, and there's no way for their system to flag a second account being opened under the same email address. They can offer me a one-time refund of $9.99 from my last billing cycle though.
Not acceptable. Don't use this service.

Even when you tell them you email them to cancel they attempt to take payment. When you select delete account, you can't. Terrible company. Reported to Paypal. If you wanna leave they make it a nightmare, don't want anything to do with them ever again.

App never worked. Company keeps billing me after cancellation. Help desk is useless. Whoever responded to my complaint is unprofessional and refuses to help. Company is dishonest and product is severely flawed.

Dreadful company. They charge me almost 100 USD a year while I have no idea for which account. When I contact support they tell me that they can't locate my account based on my payment details (card nr. and ref. nr.). They simply tell me that I need to find my account or I will be charged again after a year. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM:

It really damage the trust to a Company when it is based on subscription through a AppStore and it is nearly impossible to unsubscripe. I did a trial and forgot to unsunscripe. Fair enough I take that on my behalf. But when I then start the proces to unsunscripe only to find out that it is mission impossible I’d say they would need a serious upgrade otherwise they Will only get badwill. I took the consequences and locked my card, but annouying to go all that Way because of their lack of communication

Because I forgot to cancel my subscription, the charge was taken from my account, but they immediately refunded the money when I emailed them.
