Signed up, but didn't even get a chance to use the service because they canceled my reservation with no explanation or remedy the week of my move. Very unprofessional. Don't bother with this company if your rental is important.

Tldr avoid Fluid! Time and money wasted!

Address was wrong on the reservation, and the car number on the description vs car number on the photo are different. Had to call multiple people just to be given half correct info...

Wasted an hour of 2 people looking for the car...

this is such a great idea but poorly handled and executed for the small business sector. complete waist of time spent hours trying to get the program right. then was rejected after my money was taken.

Worst service ever. Complete hassle to set up. Went to pick the van up and the back window was cardboarded up. Hassle to get them to cancel the reservation and get a new reservation. 2nd van was full of dirt and trash. They say they charge a cleaning fee, but the vehicle was dirty inside. Drivers have difficulty getting verified. Cannot reassign a vehicle after the reservation is active, even if you click the enable drivers to access all vehicles option. Such a scam. This was our first time using them. I have spent 2 days on the phone to their support and texting back and forth. I have a business to run and don't have time for the pettiness of this service. It sounded like a great option while 2 of our fleet vehicles are in the shop, to keep our crew out working.

No communication, no information or instructions how to get the truck and after signing up and giving credit card, licenses and paying extras and agreeing to excessive fees if you don’t upload photos or do everything in their 20 point plan, you get charged. If you need to extend the rental, they double the rate. There is no customer service phone number and they didn’t answer the messsges before the rental or even 30 minutes past the rental start. If you give up and try to cancel because you can’t get the truck, you are out the funds. Then - it’s 5-7 days to get 150 deposit back. Let’s hope we get it back. No phone number and lots of bad reviews. Don’t do it. The stress of moving things Is hard enough - don’t use this terrible company to save a few dollars. They are bottom feeders. Their Facebook page is stripped from any comments or reviews by users. They post these ego boosting articles about the founder instead. I would never use them again.

All you need to know about my experience is that the truck wasn’t where we had agreed upon in the app - in fact, it was an hour (45miles) in the opposite direction from my actual planned trip, which already was 1.5 hours. In grand total, this hiccup added 3 hours of drive time to my day, at least $50 more in gas, and threw off my movers in two locations by 2 hours each. Customer service barely comped the miles they added to my trip and hilariously gave a promo code for $30 off my next reservation with them.

I rented from fluid for the last 9 months.
9 months I gave them my money weekly.
Their customer service lies regularly. I have proof in the form of text proving countless lies. They do not care about the customer, only Amazon. The claim on their website their "for the diy-ers". Ha! Laughable. 9 months at 350-390 a week. Yeah, you do the math. The last few weeks I was late extending my reservation but I always extended it! Two days ago they demobilized the van because I was late. I was to receive my paycheck in the morning and immediately pay. Nope. They said we're coming to get the van. This had been my work truck for 9 months. It had basically my whole life in it. They refused to mobilize it so I could remove my belongings. The "executive of trust and safety" gave me a call and claimed I threatened his customer service because I said I'd leave a bad review. I said we're in the middle of a worsening pandemic, I'm a single mother and just trying to make ends meet. He said that's not an excuse and that they can't give out freebies.... I have NEVER gotten anything for free. I have paid over 15k to this company and they couldn't help me out. Guess what? There is a vehicle shortage here in Seattle and Amazon needs more rigs. Gee. I wonder who is going to get that van now??! The executive made sure to let me know how inconvenient this was for him, "having to send one of his guys to get the van at 8pm on a Thursday night his time". That's literally a quote. He said it, 3 times. He called from a private number and refused to give his name.
Fluid also has a Safe Driver's Cup. It's a competition for the best driver in your region. According to their terms and conditions for said competition they owe me nearly $5,000. Of course, they have changed the rules since I've attempted to collect. The last 14 weeks I've been asking about the money they owe me. I'd get a new answer or no answer at all. They are liars and con artists. Don't waste your time.

Bad diver in South East boise Idaho. Almost killed someone driving on the wrong side of the road. Your drivers should by licensed.

Same as everyone here. They will cancel reservations days, sometimes hours before pick up. They have no regard their customers, only AMAZON!! They will cancel you so Amazon can line their pockets.

Can't talk to anyone at the company. They hide behind customer support.

total disregard for the renter. the van is available and then it's not. i reserve it and pay for it. they have my money and then they deny the reservation. this is not a legitimet company or way to do business. A Scam.

Fluid rental depends on the lenders approval, not a guaranteed reservation. I reserved a truck with more than 24 hours noticed, 10 hours later it was denied. I spent $219 between deposit and projected rental rate. I’m now out $219 for 5-10 business days because fluids refund policy is very flawed. Generic “the funds have been released on our end” message. I have very little faith. What about the “immediate refund” stated on the website? Shady at best.

A fluid truck driver nearly ran me off the road cutting in front of my car. I was able get a picture of the back of the van and plan to file a complaint. I’ve found, however, that Fluidtruck customer service has no telephone number that I can find.

Fluid Truck is a great idea, but it's poorly executed.

The website had lots of errors and it was an absolute pain in the butt to get verified, the customer service was pretty bad. In fact, customer service still has not got back to me. I am pretty sure their customer service staff was hired from Comcast and Verizon they were useless and didn't really try and help just would throw out the arbitrary rule book. Renting from Ryder is still alot easier, the only thing they disrupted was 3 hours on my thursday last week lol.

I was recently involved in a traffic accident with a driver of one of Fluid Market's 2020 RAM 2500 ProMasters. Driver said visibility on vans was an issue. Insurance adjusters for Fluid are currently trying to claim they were not at fault in spite of overwhelming evidence. Have not been contacted by Fluid or insurance to verify my physical health or to help with any costs.

Driver almost ran over my 4.5 year old son who was riding his bike in a church parking lot. I’m going to sue them

Driver was speeding through neighborhood. Kids are out riding new toys they got for Christmas. Ridiculous, they are going to hurt someone kid.

There customer service is skeptical,  they deny customers driver's licenses after uploading so they can send them very personal information about themselves (utility bill, credit card bill, picture of credit card and debit card, your account number for the credit card, social security number) I will not!! This is a red flag for identity theft and fraud. This is a pattern for them and people are fighting to prove that they didn't open up accounts or make other charges on their credit card bill because they sent them copies of the same documents they gave Fluid.

Dont waste your time trying to find out who was speeding through your neighborhood. This is a rental company. It's like calling budget and saying someone was speeding through my neighborhood or playing really loud music. They're not going to do anything.

As a rental truck company, I can't imagine one who is easier to use. I needed a truck in the wee hours of the morning and was able to get one super fast and at a great rate! New vehicle too! No lines...no counters....no paper to fill out. Finally a company that knows how I want to do business
